House in Hanover, Va - March 2016: So, here are some more pictures of that house near where I work in Hanover (more specifically Ashland) Va. I drove by it again on the way back from lunch today. PS: seeing a tipped over barrel of actual Freon is not something you want to see.

I don’t know the story behind this picture but what she is implying is horrible.  Domestic violence is a larger problem than we think; it’s something that nobody talks about but is always there.  I volunteer for a battered women’s shelter, and the amount of women who come to us for aid every month is heartbreaking.

True love shouldn’t hurt.

Just like bruises form when blood vessels break, so do sunrises when dawn breaks.

I hope whoever is in this picture reaches that dawn soon.

I love how when we look closely at life we realize that all of creation is different variations on the same pattern.  

It gives me peace and joy that the bruise on my knee holds some of the same beauty as an astounding nebulae billions of lightyears away.

We truly are made of stardust.
