If you could pick three naddpod characters (either pcs or npcs) to do an escape room with, who would you pick?

oh this question rules.

ok. caveat that i've only really ever been to one escape room so i'm not the most knowledgeable about them. (we almost broke the record on the room and really only didn't bc the record was held by a team of 7 and there were 4 of us)

i'm thinking i'd want fia as my first pick. one, i'd get to hang out with fia. two, she's incredibly smart and good at puzzles, so it would definitely help.

second person would be hardwon. he's not the smartest but he has insanely high dex so he'd be very helpful with any intricate puzzle things and he'd be very willing to just get told where to go and how to help. the ultimate support i think. (he very well would also figure some things out)

last person is the toughest. you wanna have a good balance. so i'm thinking kenna. (sorry to caldwell for not picking a caldwell pc). she'd be very supportive and very level-headed if anything got too heated, but she's also very smart and would be able to logic out a lot of stuff.

i also think the vibes would be immaculate with this group and it would result in a wild dinner afterwards where everyone accidentally has a heart eyes competition.

to start, it was absolutely a half-baked idea inspired by the fact that redemption is back and i've no choice but to be insane about that lol

it's not a great one to one, like some of the other bad au ideas i've had.

i think it's more callie, calder, and sol as parker, hardison, and eliot (respectively) in the space of the show where they're just a team of three (post original series). callie is in the mastermind/thief role, calder is the hacker (high int but jacked (we've all seen aldis hodge)), and sol is there to be the hitter.

they're all there to make amends for various wrongdoings of their pasts (callie is a redemption paladin after all), mothership is sol's moreau. krugan is callie's archie leach (but much better for her than archie was to parker jesus christ does one have no choice but to hate that guy). also imagine if you will that the whole situation in ice knife is very similar to the vibes of episode of ever the rundown job.

it's harder to flesh out the nate and sophie roles, but it would likely be ma goblin and albin, just vastly different vibes. they're around to help still, but they're not as involved anymore. ma is retired and albin has his school (theater). (saying this to say it - no romance there lol)

in the end i think both trios are deeply about helping people because you want to, because you feel you have to, because the world is a messed up place that needs people who can and will help, and will do anything to help. but also that there's love between the three of them. that they all change, together, for better or for worse. and that's kinda why it works.

Anyone remember fhsy when everyone was wondering how they were going to steal agueforts watch and gorgug went and called him while they were arguing and very politely asked if he could borrow it and ALSO very respectfully suggested he should maybe try reaching out to ayda again. and single-handedly fixed the misunderstanding that kept them from reconciling while also solving the watch problem. anyone remember that becasue i do and i want to explode into a million pieces every time. gorgug thistlespring the character you are.
