1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?

usually cambria OR helvetica if it's come from google docs or I'm feeling like a sans-serif. I recently updated my defaults so it's alllll cambria which is just the font I've used since I was 15 because pretty.

4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?

Precipice, absolutely. like anything ending in -ege or -ice, mmff.

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

Not sure if it counts as a subject matter, but I often find canon-set fic difficult to write, across fandoms. If it isn't future fic, heavily fanon timelines, or canon divergence then it just doesn't click in my brain. The easy one is definitely any AU set in the entertainment industry - it's my 9-5 and I know it so well and it's so fun and easy to put my favourite characters in it and make them do the things that maybe I do as well.

32. What is a line from a poem/novel/fanfic etc that you return to from time and time again? How did you find it? What does it mean to you?

Without a doubt the closing line to 'America' by Allen Ginsberg America, I'm putting my queer shoulder to the wheel. Discovered it through a uh, Les Mis and Teen Wolf crossover fic by lannamichaels when I was about 15 and lord, it imprinted itself on my consciousness and prompted my American poetry phase. I'm still not sure what about it resonated so deeply that I can still quote it nearly 10 years later but god. Something about the declaration of it, it stuck.

this crossed a very important line.

it isn’t about the ships at this point, it’s about queer characters’ feelings being used to ‘uplift’ the straight couple’s relationship.

as a queer person myself, will’s car scene has me sobbing all day. all day. and i know it’s “just a tv show” but honestly? it makes you believe that this is the most you’ll get. treating a queer character as a plot device and having them suffer, be ignored and left out is actually heartbreaking. we all know they can do better than this
