Took a break from painting my midterm to paint Ford since staring at all those various reds just made me think of him lol

I had a dream today where I had to change my clothes and this is what the shirt looked like

Been itching to try this out for a few weeks now, I finally did it ✨ this is just a redraw of official art just cuz I wanted to see if I could replicate the style. (Sorry Issun)

"Duality" a diptych with Prismacolors on BFK Rives paper and Fabriano paper (For Art 102 final)

I intentionally made the division between both sides very clear because I wanted to show how both sides come together to make me who I am. I also wanted to show how I only have bits and pieces of each side and sometimes it doesn't feel like I know or do "enough" of either.

Pic 2: right side- Chinese alphabet, BoPoMoFo. Left side- Longganisa with Egg for breakfast

Pic 3: Yellow roses symbolize friendship. Chinese on the left side says "My name is Mai Li An" Li = beautiful, An = security, peace. Tagalog on the right says "My name is Dae"

And of course the dragon is to represent my birth year, 2000 was the year of the dragon (metal apparently)
