EDIT: i removed the “trump refused to swear on the bible” point because it was being taken as me being an offended christian. i’m not christian, im agnostic. the reason i included it in the first place is because he’s the first president in history to ever refuse to swear on ANYTHING. meanwhile his “conservative christian” followers had no issue with this, and decided to continue to scramble for excuses instead of admitting he may not be as religious as he claims he is. i figured taking that point out entirely is probably better than filling this with an explanation in the middle of the other important issues.

a fools guide to not wanting to die anymore

never make a suicide joke again. yes this includes “i wanna die” as a figure of speech. swear off of it. actually make an effort to change how you think about things.

find something to compliment someone for at least 4 times a day. notice the little things about the world that make you happy, and use that to make other people happy.

talk to people. initiate conversation as often as you possibly can. keep your mind busy and you wont have to worry anymore

picture the bad intrusive thoughts in youe head as an edgy 13 year old and tell them to go be emo somewhere else

if someone makes you feel bad most of the time, stop talking to them. making yourself hang out with people who drain you is self harm. stop it.

for such a universally loved ship among genshin players there is a criminal lack of angsty xingqiu content

or- in general, a criminal lack of just xingqiu content

and i get it, he’s a happy character; very outgoing and chivalrous and playful and what are those characteristics if not in regard to someone else?

but he’s also extremely reserved about his family life, a bookworm, a novelist, and overall someone who works himself into passing out in order to not let people down

and not only did this boy revive a dead swords style completely on his own, he’s also an extremely hardworker in general

and no one in-game or outside of this game seems to acknowledge that, no one even ask if he’s ok most of the time. Even during the Iradori Festival when he was randomly falling asleep. It’s always:

“Are you able to do this?” or “Will you be able to finish in time?”

Xingqiu is always the one caring for others, bending himself backwards to make them happy and yet no one ever steps forward to do the same

And yes, he’s a prankster; but he never does anything genuinely harmful or irreversible

what im getting at is; Xingqiu desperately needs to be held and told he’s doing a good job

edit: this could also feed into why Xingqiu doesn’t tell his friends that he’s Zhenyu bc his friends pay attention to Zhenyu

And if they know that Zhenyu is also Xingqiu then there’s that massive possibility that they’ll just gloss over his alter ego as well

one of xingqiu's character traits that annoys me the most (due to recognition of self through the blorbo), stemming from a combination of 'regularly hides what he's up to from his disapproving family' and 'is a prodigy and was praised for being a prodigy since being very small', is his inability to ask for help when he actually needs it. like yes he does get assistance from the traveler in his story quest but it wasn't really him who needed help, it was chang the ninth, and also he had his whole very clever plan at the ready. Which is another thing actually like every time he faces a problem his main way of solving it is by using his smarts + money + sword if necessary but basically his way of solving any problem he has is coming up with a plan to fix it himself. with outside assistance sometimes, sure, but not really help. which is fine in most situations but then there was the irodori festival and i don't think i need to explain why 'sneaking alone to inazuma and living in my editor's house while sacrificing sleep signing my own books which i stole so that my signature looks good and also lying to everyone i know about this' is a horrible plan compared to, i don't know, 'explain this to the yae publishing house so they can come up with an alternative'

I was in line at Aldi and this girl with two toddlers in front of me had her card declined and she looked so fucking sad and said “let me call my husband real quick” and it was only 18 dollars, so I just paid for it, and she was very sweet and then as she walked off, the lady behind me said `”You know that was probably a scam, right?” and like, even if it was, like what a sad fucking scam, right? 18 dollars at the Aldi. If you’re “scamming” me for some Tyson chicken and apple juice and cauliflower, then just take my fucking money.

why do i never see you replying to other people's posts. never out in the wild. do you know there are users on tumblr, other than yourself, that make posts of their own and don't interact with you at all?
