Bookmarks and Comments have 2 different functions.

COMMENTS: We use comments to speak to our writers, it's a message to let them and them exclusively know we appreciate their story, their hard work. The comment section is a little more informal because it's a fan-fan conversation, but we've chosen to use the form of a letter ("hi, we're... thank you for your hard work/for sharing your art") so it could be read as a love letter from us to our writers.

BOOKMARKS (RECS): Bookmarks are different, because the conversation is not only with the writer but with other fans who may not know our writers and our bookmarks are a way to give the writers visibility. So we can't be informal writing recommendations, and we follow a scheme, noting publication date, explaining the plot and the writer's style. It's always a fan-fan conversation but it's not a fanwriter-fanreader conversation. It's a fanreader-fanreader-fanwriter conversation so it's always a love letter but in the form of a review
