I’m doing good so far! Although, I’m a bit stressed since I have finals next week and the week after that I have graduation practice, but the good news is I’ll be graduating on the 22nd of this month! Which means I’ll be able to come back to tumblr and post again. Hoorayyyy ^^

Also the new R&M trailer looks really good so far and I can’t wait for it! (≧ᗜ≦ )

I’ve been taking a break since I’m more busy in real life and mostly for my own mental health. I’ve mostly been avoiding any social media because it’s my last semester as a senior and I need to focus on making sure I have enough credits for graduation.

I don’t exactly know when I’ll come back and post on my blogs again, but I may possibly return in March for spring break. If I’m not back by then, summer break seems to be the most likely.

A Christmas Eve family party is happening in my house, my niece and I are hanging out in my harry potter-under-the-stairs ass room because we’re the autistic outcasts that everyone doesn’t know how to fucking handle. Just earlier I was asked if my younger niece could nap in my cramped room where I barely have any space and was hosting my first niece. I politely told him no, and he kept drunkenly asking. I kept telling him no, since I’m not obligated to and I’ve had bad experiences with my younger niece. This sucks, but whatever. My first niece and I are just spending time, complaining and venting about our family.

Apparently no one in my damn family likes me even though I have never fully interacted with them. Additionally, the only things they know about me is the shit talking my mom has done behind my back. By the way, I did not know my mom was talking shit about me, but I wasn’t all that surprised since I always knew she’s two faced.

Also I was not invited to the actual family Christmas party because my older cousin, who’s an adult and has a job, doesn’t like me because I insulted her even though I haven’t had an actual conversation with her for most of my life?? It was only me specifically, my parents are allowed to go to that party. Which I wouldn’t have gone anyways, but jesus, at least have the decency to invite me even if you hate me for no reason??

Only two people have given me a gift, my partner and my half sister. My sister mostly because she feels obligated since my parents and I babysit her baby. I couldn’t even have a birthday party earlier this month because apparently most of the entire family was at a company Christmas party on my birthday. Then after their company party there was still plenty of time to actually come to my house to have a party, no, they just have an after party. At a house that is literally just one house down. Yeah, they’re not forced to go to my birthday or give me a gift, but I thought it might’ve been different since I’m turning 18 and I never had a party for any of my birthdays since I was 6. Now I have to wait till summer next year to actually have a party, in another country.

Anyways, my mood isn’t all that bad since I did get a present from my partner in person and I have my niece, the only person I trust and can confide in, to talk to while everyone is having a drunk karaoke session.

Thank you for telling me anon! I did have a minor suspicion, when they sent me a reference of their Morty oc, that I decided to ignore since I was just happy to interact with fellow rnm fans and I’m just a person who tries to think the best of people. Which is probably a huge weakness of mine and most likely would get me taken advantage of. 😞

I’d prefer to give them a chance to explain themself, but I’m non confrontational and not that confident. I’ll just unfollow and block them for now.

I’ll also take down my post with the art trade, since it does give me a bad taste now.

summer smith is just an unbeatable character like you dont GET women like her in any other show

the brand of say-what-you-want she is is almost always taken on by a make role in other media. her intelligence and dominance in the family is respected and highlighted specifically by rick even when she’s being berated. and when she’s being berated it isnt in the same way that the woman characters in other media get berated. its on par with every other character that gets it in the show. her role in the story is never treated with more or less worth than the male characters and it is addressed indirectly and sometimes directly how weird the treatment of women characters in other medias is. she is unapologetically herself and while she is the “emotional teenage girl” of yhe story she isnt just branded as just an over emotional misunderstood boycrazy brat that constantly needs comfort from her mom, like every other teenage girl character in medias. she has her own separate strong character, and not just strong in the physical way but rather her character is just so real and well developed. while she will hardly pass the bechdel test because every persons life revolves around rick and every situation has to do with rick or morty, it shows her in a no greater way than every other character male or female. she is a girl, a teenage girl, done right and it kind of makes me sick to hear people just call rick and morty “the stupid incest sex joke redditor show with the pedophile on the crew” because there are a lot of really big statements the show makes that no other show has been brave enough to do. i also think this is owed to all the women hired on the team, women always know how to do women right and it shows. im really proud of this show for what it is
