Ugh, I finally finished this art. It took me about two, maybe three weeks 🤧

Hi everyone! And I've brought a couple more of my character sketches, though the last one was made up purely out of boredom ':>

In this case, I'll probably speak for Alastair...

1. That I irritate him beyond belief. The thing is that Al's hysterical and explosive character I made up on the basis of my own character. And I know for sure: if next to me will be a person with a similar temperament (choleric), we are likely to fight at best, at worst - f*cking kill each other ':)

2. Most likely it would be either a scientist full of ambition (especially in chemistry/biology) or a scandalous artist who paints pictures on the evil of the day. However, in the story, he's a soldier hiding his position as leader of the opposition and founder of a center to help ex-military angels

3. Most likely dark blue and light blue (as he was accustomed to uniforms in school). Oh, and green. Bright green :>

1. Yomo would probably hate me on sight. Yoru would be wary. Me and Chimera would probably get along great though and bond over our favorite book genres.

2. Even though he’s not allowed to be seen in public, if Yoru had a job, he’d definitely be a party planner of some sort, since he loves high-energy places like clubs. (He likes to visit them when there are no people, per Chimera’s demands…)

3. Yoru’s favorite color would likely be either a light blue or a bright pinkish-purpley color…

Now I'll tell you about Proinsias...

1. In his free time, Proins likes to tinker with his car, and at the same time teach his daughter how to fix various mechanisms (so the two of them often hang out in the garage). He is also partial to playing guitar and listening to music with his current partner, Aaron. And finally - Proins spends all his free money to help shelters for animals, especially cats, as he is an avid cat person, dreaming of his own pet since childhood (the dream was realized only while living with Aaron, as the former wife was categorically against animals in the house. Alastair often jokes to his boss that they divorced because of this)

2. Unequivocally yes. It's mostly black and white artwork with depressing content. That way it's easier for me to deal with stress. For the rest of the artwork I have music :>

Actually, Proins also often becomes a protagonist on such artworks (biography allows). But more often Alastair suffers ':>

3. The backstory is there, only I don't know how many changes it will undergo, or if there will be any at all. Plus, Aaron's biography is also touched on here.

In general, Proins is a mudblood angel, whose appearance has frankly demonic features. Like Al, he constantly faces oppression because of his origin, but thanks to his character he stoically overcomes all difficulties. However, he does not hope to achieve any incredible heights, for example, in his career. Again, because of his origin, so he is content with what he has. During the War he was forced to join the ranks of angels (he could have gone to the demons, but his intuition told him that he should not go to them (the demons eventually lost)). Around this time, he and divorced his wife, because of the service physically could not participate in the life of their newborn daughter, although always looking for an excuse to visit her. He served in a squad with other mudbloods like himself (Alastair, his best friend Anrae, Al's sister Aine, and so on were in the same squad with him) and did all the dirty work - interrogations, sweeps, and so on.

The war had embittered Proinsias. Because of his and his subordinates' species, they were rarely helped, were not eager to be rescued from captivity (only Aine helped them, for which Pro is grateful to this day), and were generally treated as expendable and "guinea pigs". Not to mention the enemies, who didn't really care for them. In fact, it was Proins' squad that first met, in fact, a new kind of demons - Antans (one of the first representatives of which is Aaron). Needless to say, by that time, Proins, who hated all living things, was brutally killing his enemies on the spot? Aaron was incredibly lucky not to fall under the heavy hand of the Angel every time.

Over time, however, Proinsias' anger towards Aaron had subsided a bit. First because both sides realized that their powers were equal. Then - Aaron's behavior always made it clear that he fought fairly (Proins always respected such opponents). And over time, the antan began to break the patterns in the angel's head - then his subordinates from under the rubble will pull out, or somehow even help. Proinsias tried not to stay in debt and could also help to the best of his ability. The two squads had gotten so used to each other that they were no longer so eager to tear each other's throats out. Their clashes were now more like unspoken competitions. And everyone was happy with that.

Until one day Aaron disappeared. There were various speculations, up to the fact that the antan was killed by his own "father" - Alpha (which in the end turned out to be an outright slander). As it later turned out, Aaron, who managed to get into the world of mere mortals, lost vigilance because of the unfamiliar environment and fell to the trappers who steal antans or their related subspecies of demons and sell them as pets (at the time of the war, the new species of demons, since they were created artificially, were not considered living beings as such, with their own minds and personalities).

Saving the demon wasn't really something Proins wanted to do. Aaron was the leader of his squad, and the death of his rival would be good for him. But something deep inside told him it was worth it to help. True, Proins decided to capitalize on the situation - to use Aaron as a bargaining chip in negotiations with the demon's "father" (antans were often placed as guards on strategically important objects).

The release of his enemy had gone relatively smoothly. The only thing left to do was to keep Aaron somewhere he wouldn't escape from. Proins' choice fell on... His apartment. Aaron, Pro thought, being in the mortal world for the first time, would be completely disoriented and asocial, that even if the demon was outside the apartment, he would not run away (the war had taught the angel to follow the trail of his victim to the end). True, Proins did not take into account one thing - he fulfilled a longtime dream of his enemy. Aaron was constantly trying to get out to ordinary citizens and see how they live.

As a result, Proins, without wanting to, slowly but surely turned from a cruel warden into a bodyguard, so that the "bargaining chip" would not be killed before its time. Aru had to be taught everything that even small children knew in the world - despite the fact that the demon was quite intelligent, he could not read and write (at least not in the usual sense for us). Long and close communication as a result softened the violent temper of Proins, he became softer and more tolerant of everything around him. He was even able to get Aaron a job as a barista at a nearby coffee shop. The angel himself also began to get used to the demon's company, he began to sit with Aara more often, chatting about nonsense while the latter worked. And in time Proinsias began to realize that he sympathized with Aaron, and the sympathy was clearly stronger than friendly. In an attempt to dismiss his feelings, Proins only grew more attached to his seemingly sworn enemy, experiencing round-the-clock remorse. He finally couldn't take it anymore, and told Aaron what Pro had originally saved him for. Aaron was not a fool and initially guessed the true motives of his savior (his worst enemy would not save him out of the goodness of his heart, would he?). However, he also noticed the changes in the character of his now friend, and was ready to forgive him such a transgression.

At that point their paths parted for the time being. Proins, with all his artistry, bargained some objects and plans from Alpha and continued his service with peace of mind. Until he was captured by demons (in this case, the most common ones). And if, being in captivity of the same Antans, Proins was not touched without great need, not to mention the deliberate infliction of injuries, but here the angel got the full - tortures and humiliations were interrupted only for the time when a new torturer would come to the prisoner's cell. Spoiler: Proins was tortured to such an extent that they had to amputate his right arm completely, and his left arm - to the elbow, so now he can't take his true form (amputated arms in this form would turn into wings).

And now it was Aaron's turn to help Proins. He was able to gain the favor of Al and Anray, and negotiate with the rest of the squad for the release of the chief. As with the rescue of Ara, Proinsias's release went rather quietly, except for the fact that the base where Angel was being held had been blown to hell.

From that moment on, Pro's life began to go into a complete black streak. Being completely unwanted in the military, he was left to rot in his apartment, armless and with a terrible exacerbation of PTSD from his captivity. He began to deliberately ruin his health by smoking and drinking, not making contact with any of his former subordinates, friends. He was afraid to show his face even to his own daughter. For a while he couldn't even perform basic self-care. Until one day Aaron came to him and did not put before the fact that, since Proins took care of the demon, he should repay the same.

And from that day on, the angel's life began to get better. Life with Aaron became much more peaceful. True, now Proins was thinking about how to tell his friend about his sympathy and whether to tell at all. Spoiler: he didn't have to say anything, because Aaron was ahead of Pro - the sympathy was mutual :>

My answers:

1. Yoru often enjoys going to clubs and bars around the city to hang out. (Chimera has to place a reservation ahead of time, so no-one else is there while Yoru and him are…)

2. All three of my OC’s can reflect different parts of some of my irl mood at different times: Chimera: the quiet loner who often finds comfort in his own solitude, but will gladly help aid others if need be. Yoru: The social fun-loving party animal who thrives off other people’s company. Yomo: the irritable self-loather with a glass-half-empty view of the world.

3. In short desc: Chimera, after leaving his overbearing mother and his childhood home to live in an apartment in the city that he often dreamed of moving to, meets a creature named Yoru, who is a rare species that Chimera’s never seen before and invites Yoru to live with him. He then must take care to keep Yoru out of sight of the city’s other inhabitants, a job that gets far more complicated with the appearance of Yomo, a second being that resembles Yoru, but has a dark secret…

1. WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER/SONA’S PERSONALITY LIKE?

My Fursona, aka Fasty Ozy, has pretty much the same personality as me. That's why she's a fursona, heh. Fasty's a little more moody and perky than I am. She's a withdrawn introvert, consisting of total fatigue, workaholism, and nagging at everything alive ':>

2. HOW MUCH TALLER OR SHORTER DO YOU THINK THEY (YOUR CHARACTER) WOULD BE COMPARED TO YOU IRL?

M, I think she's going to be a lot taller. Her 2 meters vs my 1.75 (I'm totally not jealous). However, compared to some of my other characters, Fasty isn't that tall (Proinsias in general is 3 meters of concentrated rage)

3. DO THEY CANONICALLY HAVE A FAVORITE SONG?

In terms of favorite song, I think there would be a few:

Me personally, I’m choosing my character Yomo for all three of these…

My answer:

Yomo is a very mysterious individual, he doesn’t show much emotion on his face and holds little empathy for other individuals. He knows Yoru has an attraction to him and is unwilling to reciprocate any romantical feelings. (If he even has any.) At the same time, Yomo harbors a hidden hatred toward Chimera for unknown reasons…

Yomo would definitely be taller than me as he is around 7ft7... (Yoru is around 6ft4. still taller than me.)

Yomo’s song choices would likely be limited as he’s not the type to listen to music. But his most favorite would likely be Empty Walls by Serj Tankian…

A Favorite thing about 2025 so far?

I've really liked how I organize my art so far this year! Last year I didn't do the best at keeping track of dates and stuff, but this year I've made a folder for each month and put the date for each artwork, and it's cool to be able to look back at what I've done this year and see how far I've come!

One of your favorite songs to listen to?

I highly recommend listening to the full album, 'One' by C418, because it is genuinely one of the best out there, but I find 'The Weirdest Year of Your Life' to be particularly impactful. It's part of what made last year one of my favorite ever! It also has a tendency to be found by people living their own 'weirdest year' based on what I've read in the comments.

Have you broken a bone? If so, which bone? What's the story?

Yes, I have broken a bone. (Well, fractured, but that counts) It was when I was really young (in fact, I don't specifically remember this, I had to be told when I was older) I was playing on a trampoline and my uncle also started jumping on it, and unfortunately bounced hard enough that I flew off and fractured my little leg >W<
