Indefinite hiatus

Hey everyone, as the title suggests, this blog is going on an indefinite hiatus. The reasoning is not because I don't like Outlast anymore, it's that other things in my life have taken up much more importance and it just leaves me no inspiration or time to write for the blog. This blog belonged to someone else that I had a falling out with, and it left me ownership of the blog. And while it has been fun, rn there are other things in my life I'd like to focus on. Once Outlast Trials comes out, I'll most likely come back or find another owner to manage it. Have a safe day/night everyone, and thank you.

I'm so glad other people are excited about the Outlast Trials, I was starting to feel like I was the only one. So thank you for being excited.

Who's your favourite character?

Mine is Miles, I love that sarcastic asshole, his commentary (written notes) made me laugh. Especially the one where he said it looked like somebody had tried to fuckstart his face with a chainsaw 😂😂😂

I'd have to say Eddie, Trager, Chris, Marta, the Langermanns, Waylon, and Val! The Outlast universe brings us such iconic characters, and I can't wait to see more from The Outlast Trials

I think that Outlast Trials is going to be really interesting and I'm actually quite excited for the game, but all I've seen is critical comments and people bashing it before it's even released.

What do you personally think? Are you intrigued by it or not that fussed?

I'm honestly really excited for it! I think the new mechanics they're introducing will be good and the lore surrounding the early days of Murkoff definitely has grabbed my interest.

I'll be sure to share my thoughts about it when it comes out too!

Frank's most likely going to resist at first. After all, those Murkoff fuckers tried shoving needles and feeding tubes in his face and that hardly helped at all.

But once he sees that this strange man is trying to help him, he's going to calm down a little. Letting his wounds heal actually feels nice, Frank thinks once he sees you're not going to hurt him. It'll also be better for his tattoos as well.

It'll be hard to curb Frank's cannibalistic tendencies, but with enough work, he can be helped. He might even start eating real food too!

After being mistreated for so long, Frank knows this is a wonderful change of pace <3

Which one of you lovelies is excited for imagines for The Outlast Trials characters?~

OK, with Outlast Trials coming out this year, I gotta get this out of the way before I forget:

All the trailers out (and the Steam description) confirmed this is a prequel about Murkoff’s collab with the CIA during MKUltra. Whether or not this will actually be a Walrider origin story is yet to be seen, but it’d be nice.

I’m pretty sure in the second Trials BTS video, they mentioned Coyle is gonna do some gross sexual shit. (I’m having flashbacks to Eddie Gluskin and all the off-screen stuff from Knoth and Loutermilch.)

Stuff I’m hoping to see:

Shawn Baichoo returning as one of the player characters.

Marcel Jeannin coming back to voice a younger Dr. Wernicke, even if it’s a late-game surprise cameo.

Recurring voice actors like Andreas Apergis, Carlo Mestroni, and Graham Cuthberson coming back, even if they voice background characters.

A weirdly sexual face lick a la Andrew the Scientist or Val.

Someone already said it, but someone gets crucified.

Going back to the MKUltra stuff, are we gonna get more references to the Mount Massive notes about Misses Pearce and Jackson? Probably not, but it’d be a nice throwback.

I was gonna say I wanted to see another moment where we get separated from our video camera like Miles and Blake did, but based on all the promo images… since the cameras are gonna be implanted into the player characters, that would be hard. So maybe the parts where the characters get separated would be a take on that?

In part 2 of the anniversary Q&A, JT Petty vaguely mentioned that the Murkoff Account comics leading up to Outlast 2 were the first set of prequel comics, so… Outlast Trials prequel comics when?

Miles with a male photographer s/o who's just as sassy as he is?

Oh boy, talk about two peas in a pod.

Miles and the photographer would definitely get along, having the same sense of humor and attitude. Poking fun at each other and other people, especially the Variants (hopefully out of earshot). They usually wouldn't have confrontations, but when they do, they'd resolve it pretty quickly and move on. If they find that they have even more things in common (i.e past experiences, other hobbies, etc.) they'd become really close.

Perhaps in time, Miles develop a crush on the photographer, and he might follow suit and vice versa. But if not, they'd still be close friends.

What would Eddie do when his wife went into labor and is about to give birth to twin?

He'd probably panic a little bit before trying to regain his composure. He'd immediately rush her to the car and speed off to the hospital, hopefully before she gives birth right then and there.

If he can't make it to the car, he'll do everything he can to ensure a safe home birth. He'd make sure his wife was breathing and clean up any fluids or blood. And of course, he's the one to deliver his precious children.

Once he finds out he has twins, he'll be so overjoyed: two perfect babies that are his flesh and blood. Eddie will be the greatest father ever, much better than his old man, that's for sure.

He'll make sure to care for his wife afterwards too, can't have her dying on him now, can he? Eddie would finally get the perfect family he wants, what he always deserved.
