Help my family survive and start a new life

Hello everyone, thank you for taking a moment to read our story.

I am Hazem Shawish, and I am trying to save my family from this war.

We live in Gaza, where we face significant challenges due to the current situation.

My family consists of 11 members, including my mother, two daughters, four sons, and three children.

In the shadow of conflict, our family has faced unimaginable hardships. The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.

Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. We hold onto hope, believing that one day the clouds will dissipate, and we will find the peace we long for.

Our home, which was a sanctuary for us, was destroyed, forcing us to live in a state of uncertainty and fear. We have lost the laughter of our children.

We also face psychological challenges, as we have lost our father, and my brother Samer, who needs expensive medical treatment, is facing imminent danger. My mother, who has endured so much, fears losing another child. We are all suffering from malnutrition and contaminated water.

We dream of moving to Egypt to find safety, where our children can pursue their education.

We seek your support as individuals who understand the value of compassion and community.

Not art related, but in my free time I like to make little bracelets for myself. I made Hogan’s Heroes, Andy Griffith/Gomer Pyle, and Green Acres themed bracelets!

From A tehrani resident who barely got out let me inform you of some of the things currently going on here:

Israel bombed two of the highways leading out of tehran, both are blocked now. The remaining highways had heavy traffic until few hours ago. After israel bombed every oil tanks and refineries around tehran, a shortage of petrol happened. Now most petrol stations are out of work and if you're lucky enough to find one that's still operating, you have to stay in hours long lines in hopes of getting max 15 liters of petrol. So even with a car, it's not guaranteed you can get very far from the city.

There's also the matter of where to go and stay. The bank system is half working, no cash available at the time. And you can't exactly sleep in the deserts around the city. Most people still stuck in tehran don't have anywhere to go and they don't have the money to afford relocating themselves (it's always the lower class that gets the worst hits)

All of these are beside the fact that most people can't leave the city under any circumstance. They have chronic illnesses, they have sick family members who needs care, they work as emergency workers and can't leave their lines of duty.

But these mfs don't care about human life getting destroyed. It's just numbers to them, expendables. Our own government has abandoned people to die horrible deaths, they never cared and they don't care now. People of iran are worth nothing to nobody. It's Gaza all over again.

I have family and friends still in tehran who can't leave. I'm bracing myself for the worst case scenario. I hope all those who start war, add fuel to the flames of war, encourage it and cheer for it, burn and rot in hell. I don't really believe in hell and afterlife, but I hope it's all real just to see these people get what they deserve

Hello, I'm back to bug you😂 Soooo...I don't know if you take requests or not, but I am once again gonna take one for the team and ask if you do.

If so - and assuming you're not opposed - I would absolutely love to see you draw Klink and Hogan together. I'm obsessed with that one scene from The Klink Commandos where Hogan and Klink are on the train together, both wearing German uniforms. (See first pic.) Except if you could make Hogan's expression the same as it is in either the second or third pic instead, that would be even better! (Preferably the second one; the Klogan fangirl in me needs this🥺🙏🏻)

Anyhow, if you've read this far and haven't immediately deleted the ask, thank you for that. And if you don't take requests, that's obviously fine too. I'll just continue to enjoy your art as it is. But my mom always said "the only stupid question is the one unasked", so I figured it didn't hurt to try.

hello! i absolutely do take requests and am very excited to receive my first (for anyone who sees this consider it an open invitation for more requests). in fact i think requests will make more likely to actually finish something which for me is one hell of an achievement. anyway i will certainly try, it may take me a little while but rest assured i will do my best. thank you very much for giving me a good reason to draw. also how can i say no to klink and hogan oh my god i love them and your vision is immaculate
