3L here! I just wanted to say congrats on getting into law school <3 the journey is just beginning!

Sorry to roll in with unsolicited advice but I can’t help myself. Please feel free to ignore!

Law school will challenge you in ways you’ve likely never been challenged - not just intellectually but in social and moral ways too. You will meet classmates you love and those you despise. Other people (cough big law people cough) might try to make you feel small - especially if you take a less “prestigious” path.

It can be so easy to lose sight of your values and passions in an industry that is soooo prestige driven. I hope that you will find the strength to hold on to your convictions and pursue a career that is authentic to you!

Congrats again! I hope you love law school!

I'm sooo glad to find an envi sci studyblr!!! It feels like it's so rare.

yess!! there are like none of us out here! possibly it has to do with the venn diagram of tumblr users and people who go outside being separate circus tents, but that said, I'll list some cool people I follow if you want more env sci on your dash.

11/100 Days of Productivity

Last night I attended a 2.5 hour class, watched 3 lectures, read 2 chapters, submitted the associated write up, picked and prepped my research article, started on an assignment not due for 2 weeks, and wrote a page of my master’s thesis. Today’s to do list includes emails, cleaning, grading some student tests, another lecture and write up, calling my bank, therapy, hustling to work through the snow, taking a quiz, continuing that far off assignment, and getting to 3 pages of thesis preamble. We can do it!! Jesus Christ, but we can!!

Started off with a really excellent chocolate peanut butter smoothie, let’s take it from there!
