tess has now given a proper apology for the comic she drew depicting winter slapping whitley. it’s better than the first lackluster apology we got and i’m glad that she did respond pretty quickly for it. male abuse victims do unfortunately fly under the radar, especially in our media and are a blind spot for a lot of people.

i do want to reiterate that whitley is an abuse victim, who is still actively being abused by both parents (negligence is abuse.) just because he is jacques “ favoured child ” doesn’t mean that he isn’t suffering abuse like weiss and winter, and he deserves the same treatment and compassion they did. his abuse victim status doesn’t change because of his being mean to weiss or his gender. if you want to stand up for victims, you stand up for ALL victims. not just the ones you like.

You know what I don't get? If someone likes a yaoi or yuri ship, antis accuse that person of "fetishing mlm and wlw ships". But if someones likes a mlw ship, antis will accuse them of being "homophobic" (even if the shipper is LGBT or sees the their ship as bi or pan)...

i think this was asked before on my old blog but yup, and in a few situations i love it. it could give a lot of depth to the characters involved and provide a lot of spicy drama and angst. however i don’t follow through with it on my frostbite or arctic warfare aus for obvious reasons lmao.

nicola quinn is the wife is rooster teeth’s vp of engineering and product, michael quinn. it came out that there was a warrant out for his arrest on the 13th of november for a second degree felony, family violence through aggravated assault. he was arrested on the 18th of november.

nicola alleges that michael brutally beat and strangled her earlier this month; including putting a gun up against her head before saying “ if i’m going to kill you, it’s going to be with my hands. ” he then proceeded to choke her. he also trapped her hand in a door when she attempted to escape, strangled her twice into unconsciousness, punched her in the stomach and head, threatened to bury her body in the back yard and this is only what nicola has told the police in her affidavit. michael would also reportedly only let her go to her job, but all her wages went into his bank account; another way he could abuse her and keep his control over her.

michael is currently out on bond since the 20th of november, with a protective order out for nicola and their child so he can’t contact them. a few different news sources have been trying to get in touch with rooster teeth for an official statement but have gotten nothing in return yet which is pretty fucking yikes.

and from what i can see or i’ve been told, not really? all i’m gonna say is it will be mad hypocritical for them to immediately denounce vic for what was at the time purely allegations without a lot of evidence that wasn’t forged or went against what the supposed “ victims ” said (i’m really not looking to get into the debate so don’t bring it here @ anyone reading this) but not say or do anything about michael who had enough evidence against him to bring criminal charges and the cunt legitimately tried to murder his wife. he had a gun against her head and then chose to strangle her instead, statistics show that if your so / spouse strangles you, they’re over three times more likely to end up trying to murder you. this prick is disgusting and he deserves to burn in hell.
