How the fuck do I understand if I am bi/pan/omni/poly in whatever attraction scraps that appear if I can't view people in gendered way.

I do not feel my gender and I can't see others gender.

There isn't to say that I am not aware who is a woman and who is man, but it's because my country is v homophobic and arein't no way a man can look this feminine and a woman can look this masculine.

My 'attraction' is directed at traits, like voice or face, etc and they are not gendered. So how do I know how I feel about genders exactly if I am sort of gender blind???

I agree the results would be interesting. But I will not be the one to publish such a poll! Its a super divisive topic and one I don't want to give any side ammo for disparaging the others.

Wondering abt the overlap between aro and acespec identities and polyamorous... Like I feel like there's definitely an obvious overlap in how aro and ace people may define way more than allo people what certain relationships mean to them and what meanings gestures and actions have, and which are allowed in the various relationships they have. Because aro and ace people may give different meanings to certain actions than the ones allo people, like for example kissing being only a romantic thing whereas an aromantic person may enjoy it without romantic feelings attached and may therefore want to kiss friends and such, it just feels like it immediately breaks down a bunch of the heteronormative and monogamous rules on "exclusivity". Like, society may define kissing as a partner only thing. So what if for example, I kiss a friend while also having a partner? It isnt necessarily "being polyamorous", but in some way it breaks the norm in the same exact way. It's hard to describe what Im thinking here, but I hope Ive been clear enough.

It just feels like aro and ace people define often define their relationships differently for each person and that clearly breaks away from society's idea of strict relationship lines (friends vs partners for example, queerplatonic relationships immediately break that line), and it reminds me intensely of polyamorous people while also not being that. Idk it just feels like you have a wider and more nuanced and open approach to relationships and having multiple relationships that you define as important at the same time without necessarily placing one above all others. It greatly reminds me of polyamoury.

I won't deny that polyamory can stir up new insecurity sometimes, but I've found it overall does the opposite.

I don't have to worry about "what if my partner likes this other person" -- I know they do! And I'm still here getting enthusiastically loved on!

I think a lot of the anxiety stems not from any specific act or feeling, but from the uncertainty. Which is totally resolved in my set-up.

Ragatha trying to be overly positive to avoid being like her negative mother. Jax trying to not be overly nice to avoid being like his lying parent.

And then they confront each other in some near abstraction moment and blow up and learn other's perspective and grow to appreciate each other😭

Soooo does Jax also have parental issues orrr?

Honestly I would LOVE that Jax and Ragatha trigger each other's traumas.

Ragatha's mom was yelling and berating her, so seeing Jax being openly aggressive stresses her out.

In turn Jax's line about Ragatha 'taking advantage of you' and 'being told you are loved every day loses meaning' could be from his parent also buttering him up only to use him and so Ragatha's overly positive behaviour puts him on guard.

If Ribbit abstracted before Kaufmo and if while they were around Jax was more toleratable, maybe even friend-ish with others, than his downgrade was much quicker and I feel like others lose more and more patience with him.
