Every time I rewatch The Lord of the Rings I oscillate violently between “it’s important to show men having close, supportive friendships and I’m so glad Peter Jackson chose to show all the male characters being loving and physically affectionate with one another in a healthy, platonic way” and “damn, these bitches gay. good for them, good for them”

Hey! I just finished what you have written so far on The Weight Of Gravity, and OH MY HOD ITS SOOO GOOD!!!

Your portrayal of the characters as complex people without any bashing is masterful, and the reimagination of Harry living in the 40’s after OOtP is written soo well.

I also love your Tom, and his relationship with Harry, because it seems evident he cares and that Harry cares for him but neither of them really know what to do with what they’re feeling

I also wanted to say I loved the last chapter from Ron’s POV, and I think it added a really nice rounded view of all sides of the story, and helped avoid any character bashing

I am SOOOO excited to read more (especially a confrontation with the Gryffindor students and Sirius’ shovel talk)

AHHH I’M SO SORRY I NEVER SAW THIS MESSAGE!!

But it just made my whole day reading it!! I’ve been tied up with grad school and life the past few months and when I sat down to write the next chapter, I realized I needed another chapter to bridge the gap between where the characters are and where I want them to be so that has also slowed things down a bit.

I’m just so happy that so many people have read it and enjoyed it so far! I’ve had so much fun writing it!

(And if you’re excited for some confrontations you better buckle up for the next chapter ;) )
