Heard it was 'make a bad comic' day and my brain decided that was enough of an override for my perfectionism for me to make this! A silly intro for a silly au I'm calling 'The Straynger'. It's a Kit survives au where Jentry tries to give Kit a soul and, instead of making him human, it cures a curse placed on him and reveals him as a Penghou (a tree spirit with the face of a person and the body of a dog, with MANY liberties taken for this design ksgsnsfs). It both is and isn't more serious than this I've thought about it SO much jafsjsfaah enjoy!

Hurting my heart with the concept of Michael developing mild insomnia due to fearing going to sleep and receiving another future vision where someone he cares about gets hurt or dies. Also hurting my heart with the idea that his visions didn't start with the first one we see in the show, but before they were too vague for him to really see them as anything other than weird dreams; he was seeing the events of the show happening and only got to see them clearer due to how close they were to coming to fruition, meaning he was doomed to have almost no time to prepare from the start.

Looking in the mirror is weird for me rn because my hair unintentionally looks almost exactly like Kit's. Combined with the few personality traits I actually do share with him, I feel like a weird copy of him. Kit if he didn't give a fuck about romance and was ginger+white (evil/j).

The concept of Kit feeling more comfortable saying he ate people when he stole their qi rather than saying he killed them will never not be funny to me. It really doesn't sound better at all, it's just more accurate to what he was actually doing, and that being a technicality he gets caught up on is peak morbid comedy to me.
