@ziskaah ・・・ I was super nervous to work with pastels as they have always intimidated me😳 Very thankful that the June @paletteful box put me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to try something new. @lacedcanvas ・・・ Last week of the May @paletteful pack is London! I don’t quite like how I did the yellow background, but I’m pretty happy with how the telephone booth turned out! I hope it speaks “London” enough. - The challenge included using only the materials that came in the box. The box contained magenta and yellow graphix watercolor inks, four graphix black fineliners, two Princeton brushes, and strathmore 500 series watercolor paper. - Also be sure to check out @misstutje and @katkerr.madethis pieces, this pack was part of a collab I was doing with them! @misstutje ・・・ #bloom week 3 of #palettefulpacks may challenge. Done together with #lattesofart 🌼🏵🌹🌺🌻🌺⚘🏵🌼💐 . I am quite happy with the outcome. With the aqua inks lemon 020 and magenta 014 of #graphix mixed with the black of graphix's fineliners I have been able to create all these beautiful colors! @_kareful ・・・ First artwork with first ever #palettefulpacks 😃. So stoked to be getting these now. This was May’s premier box, and the prompt was “Jellyfish”. I thought of doing some creative interpretations based on the word but decided I wanted to do a loose real life study. This is a Lions Mane Jellyfish; one of the jellyfish that can be found in my region of the globe and happens to be the biggest species of jellyfish recorded (which I just learned when searching up reference images). I actually made a terrible mess out of this piece, but tried to pull it together as much as I could at the end, instead of completely scrapping it and starting over.... This is my first time using #watercolor #inks so .. :(.
