haha! i’ll admit, i’ve been contemplating drawing the four of them together, but i haven’t actually given thought to how they’d interact…

mm, i think ladybug and chat noir are awed and excited to meet adult wielders of their miraculous, but also find lady luck and catastrophe to be a bit… severe 😅 lady luck and catastrophe are more baffled that children are wielding such powerful miraculous.

after the ice breaks a little:

ladybug thinks lady luck is really cool and smart and capable, and lady luck finds ladybug impressive as well. chat noir and catastrophe… basically 3:19 of this video lmao, but catastrophe finds him endearing, deep down. especially since he can tell chat noir’s got feelings for his lady.

catastrophe has the same opinion on ladybug that lady luck does, and also appreciates her creativity (even if he thinks her plans can get a little convoluted). ladybug finds him quite gallant and chivalrous.

lady luck has a similar reaction to chat noir as catastrophe does, but she’s more willing to indulge his playfulness. she’ll even call catastrophe out for being such a brick wall when he’s normally sillier and more relaxed like chat noir is lmao

Cult of the lamb x Epic the musical

So I’ve seen a lot of these but I agree with none of them, especially the ones with Ratau as Odysseus, mostly because I doubt he is brave enough for this role and probably wouldn’t be able to handle it. So I’m not only going to put what I think each role should be, but also an explanation. I will only be doing the main cast for now but comment or reboot if you want more.

Odysseus-Heket

Not only is she the bravest out of anyone in the game she is literally heartless. I think that it would be interesting to see her go through the journey of becoming the monster that she is today. Not only that but she is also stronger than the entire cast so Odysseus would really be fitting (in my opinion) (The song Odysseus from the Ithaca saga fits best with her)

Athena-Shamura

Humbled by a lightning bolt in the face and nothing else. Who’s to help Heket be a ruthless tyrant than her dear sibling. Athena and Shamura already have so much in common, badasses, warriors and gods of war and wisdom but in this musical they especially fit best since in this at first Athena try’s to make Odysseus more ruthless but in the end she is more merciful and he ends up being a monster. Athena also leaves Odysseus to deal with his problems himself, in the game Shamura doesn’t help or fight the lamb to their fullest (The song Warrior of the mind or My Goodbye showcases what I’m saying clearly)

Polities- Leshy

I imagine Leshy being a happy go lucky lad when he is not in the presence of the lamb. Not only does he blindly trust the winions in Open Arms but he also gets taken out first. Also Heket has the most impact from Leshy dying in the game and in this musical Odysseus gets the most impacted by Polities’ death since Polities gets mentioned in almost every saga (Open Arms is the song for Leshy)

Eurylochus-Kallamar

Eurylochus is not only a hypocrite but he is also the most cowardly out of the cast, he was scared of going to the island in the sky and wanted to run away from Circe. He also betrayed Odysseus in mutiny which is a very Kallamar move. Kallamar is technically also the second in command in the family. (Luck runs out or mutiny are some very good songs to show how he is)

OP of the Odyssey comic here; context is that near the end of the story, Penelope requests for Odysseus to move their wedding bed, which cant be done because it is made from a living olive tree, this rooted in the ground.

In the Epic the musical version, this gambit is played to the theme of validating that Odysseus is still the same person despite the 20 years of war and torment (“only my husband would know!” -> So no matter how much you say you’ve changed that much is still true!)

In the homeric poem The Odyssey…She’s throughly unconvinced that this man is Odysseus and pretty upset with how her son and allies are trying to convince her, so she sets up a gambit that only her real husband would know. It’a up for interpretation, but to some, it would seem she thought he would genuinely attempt to move the tree, and catch him in the lie!

Both versions are great in their own way, the contrast was just funny to me, so I drew a funny comic about it. Cheers!
