The Time Machine is H.G. Wells barely disguised fetish fiction.
Allow me to explain. You know how sometimes a fetish is so oddball that the person writing the fiction piece (for their own sanity) writes it in a way that makes sense? A way that may be very far into the future with all the necessary twists in history to make it happen (whether that's for some humans acting like pets or one race being sexually superior, gross etc, gross etc).
I think Wells' fetish was little people (or even worse, children) and he wrote the novella The Time Machine maybe without even thinking of it as fetish fiction.
Allow me to explain further. The Time Traveler (as he's called in the book, nameless as nearly all the rest of the characters in that story) travels into the future and finds himself in an idealic utopia where there's these smaller, less intelligent versions of humans. While real life little people are just as intelligent as the "default" size, the going thought of the time was the opposite. But in this case I actually do concede that the evolutionary track that humans took in the story does explain the lack of intelligence and ability.
Yet what's more is that the little people are described as childlike (the lack of intelligence and ability) *but* also beautiful. Beautiful? Cute may be an apt, sane description but beautiful seems to me to be an odd, but still rather non-problematic description. Odd but fine. Beautiful things don't need to be sexual. A butterfly is beautiful. A well made bidet can be beautiful if one hasn't had a good butthole washing in a while.
But here you have a full size man in a world of little innocent people (described as being childlike but beautiful). Not a *big* deal right? Well it isn't, until he starts to describe that they bathe a lot and play around. Interesting. A little odd but whatever. Not pervy to have *noticed* that the innocent little people bathe in the lakes and rivers when they probably have no qualms being seen doing so. But then the kicker comes in: he says that they "love-make in a half hearted fashion". Hmm? What now? How would time traveler man know this?? Has he been spying on them doing so? Yes, apparently.
That's a pervy thing to do but there's more. The next escalation is that he openly admits to watching them bathe. And he also gains a *female* companion of the little people named Weena after saving her life from drowning while she bathed.
I rest my case. H.G. Wells was a pervy little people/child fetishist.

If the chocolate guy is wasting chocolate (aka food) with his egregious center pieces for what I can only assume to be pretentious parties, I need him to be sat down and all the wasted chocolate conga lined into him until he's like the blueberry girl from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
This is the way.
Sorry for the vitriol if he's actually a lowkey chill dude

Note: everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No I am NOT telling people to abandon said and use these. Yes I understand that said is often good enough, but sometimes you WANT to draw attention to how the character is speaking. If you think adding an action/movement to your dialogue is 'good enough' hate to break it to you but that ruins immersion much more than a casual 'mumbled'. And for the last time: this is just a resource list, CALM DOWN. Hope that covers all the annoyingly redundant replies :)
