Feeling emo so I drew the tragic ending of my BG3 playthrough 

✨Game spoilers ahead!✨

My redeemed Durge managed to convince Astarion to break the cycle of abuse and remain a vampire spawn, but she couldn't convince Gale to abandon his pursuit for godhood. Here's what I imagine the moment looked like after Gale sent a projection of himself to say goodbye. Astarion gave one last attempt to grab Gale and hold him and beg him to return to humanity. Alas, Gale's hubris proved too strong even for friendship 😭 I was HEARTBROKEN. At least Durge and Astarion can support each other through the betrayal and disappointment.

part of what i like about "queer" as a label is that it is inherently hostile to definition. this part of myself is alien and unknowable to outsiders and I like it that way. no boxes for you to check and guess like you're playing cluedo. just queer.

Did it strongly confirm a bias or suspicion?

Did it make you feel angry, smug, disgusted, superior, and/or helpless?

Do you have the energy, time, ability to research, confirm, and provide sources, links, and some additional clarifying details?

Generally I have this in mind, not necessarily always and not always observed, and I forget and blah blah. But it's a pretty simple guide to remember, and honestly items 1 and 9 cover me most of the time.

sometimes i wish i could tell other women that you can just stop removing your body hair and in many cases the consequences will be way less severe than u expect. you can go to the beach with all your leg hair intact and nobody will stop you or say a thing. you can stop waxing your upper lip and people won’t stare at it the way u might be bracing yourself for. you can quit plucking your brows and eventually they will grow back into themselves and no one will even notice. like for sure women are punished for not participating in beauty rituals but i also feel like so much of it is like The Panopticon sometimes where you just convince yourself that if u stop that kind of gendered upkeep everyone will be mad and stop talking to u forever when in reality you just keep existing and nothing remarkable happens. it’s not always easy but you can kind of just stop for real
