what’s up man. You’re the only person I know who can use blender. How do I paint directly on a 3-D model?

Hihi! While I'm not super advanced in blender or anything, I've heard a couple different ways. I think for general sculpts I've seen people using something called vertex painting, which could be useful to look into.

But since I work with retopologized models, I first UV unwrap the model, create a new blank texture, select paint mode, then start painting the new texture directly on the model. Don't forget to periodically save the texture as you work or you risk losing progress in a crash 🥲

Small update: I realized a small colour problem between the middle and sides of the vest that I quickly fixed, and also noticed that the head was too small for arcane's style so I scaled it up a bit. Also made the tie thicker ^-^
