Problem is, when you’re stuck in that situation, many of us can’t find the strength to do “the right thing”

I’m a 31 yr old woman, and the FIRST time this happened to me I was riding the bus at 2pm in the afternoon going home from school [We wear uniforms so I was obviously a child]. I can’t tell you the horror, the helplessness, and the sheer embarrassment I felt. All I did was pull my [longish] sweater the opposite way to try and keep his hand from getting any closer. After what felt like an eternity [which in reality couldn’t have been more than 4 blocks] I stood up and got off the bus. Mind you it wasn’t my stop. When I looked back he had also gotten off. Did I run? Did I ask for help? Did I go into a store?. No. I just WALKED as fast as I could straight home, without even glancing back again from fear he might still be there.

Truth is that in this situation we can’t be all heroes, in the end that’s why we are VICTIMS. My creeper encounters would continue. Each time I told myself I’d say something, at least give them a dirty look. I did once, I felt that maybe the next time I’d be able to do something even more kickass but, you know what? I’d rather had been the victim once, than ever having the chance to “do better next time”.

I HATE when they show scenes like this! It not only teaches people how to be creepers but makes the victims all look docile. 

****Note if anyone ever does this to you on the bus or train. Grab their finger and snap it back as HARD as you can till it snaps and start screaming. Or you can stab them with your keys anything to leave an identifying mark.Make a scene get attention and call the police. Remember you don’t owe anyone anything if anyone touches you and you don’t want it you have the right to defend yourself. ****

It's so amazing to see how far vegeta but also Bulma have come in their relationship. The last time we saw them together, they both didn't really seem to care for each other; Bulma was much more concerned with Baby/Future Trunks and very nonchalant about Vegeta and now she cries her heart out because of his death. You know for someone like Toriyama who is not really into romance those two are so believable in overcoming their differences. Especially without giving up parts of their personality.

I think it’s amazing, too!  I find their VERY unlikely relationship interesting because it’s fun thinking about all the ways they could have emotionally bonded despite very selfish and problematic areas in BOTH of their personalities.

I like that Vegeta doesn’t turn into a lovey dovey super dad/husband when he settles down.  He’s still himself, maybe not the best husband/father all the time, but what can you expect?  And Bulma doesn’t fawn all over Vegeta like a love-sick girl and when their relationship is on the rocks she isn’t shown to agonize over it as if the end of their love means the end of her life’s happiness.  She also isn’t shown trying to desperately force him to stay with her.  He can come and go as he pleases as long as she wants him there.  They both stay true to themselves and though they both seem to be able to be happy being independent, they’ve chosen a life together and they’re both better and stronger for it!

THEY WENT FROM THIS:

To the beginnings 

maybe it started with pity…

or maybe Bulma’s mom shipped it so hard she broke the anime

but some respect started seeping in on Bulma’s side

SO SHY, VEGETA!!

AND THEN RESPECT STARTED SEEPING IN ON VEGETA’S SIDE

And he started doing whatever she said because he respects her and might like her a little???

But they go through some rough patches

But

it’s ok in the end

And though they go through the VEGEBUL ROLLERCOASTER during the Cell Saga, swinging back and forth between basic concern and complete disinterest

so shy Veggie so shy

But there’s still something there even if neither of them will admit it

Vegeta both liked and hated it

Until he FINALLY fully accepted them and let go of himself and his own ego enough to love his family without holding back

and is able to sacrifice his very self, that he used to cling to so desperately, all for them

And Bulma shows the most emotional reaction she’s EVER shown about Vegeta

and then…. ;v;!!

"Don’t worry, we’re cool.  We’re ok!"

And even though they still occasionally fight

They still defend, support, help, and love each other
