Sometimes, a part of us doesn’t want to heal from our trauma because in a way, it feels like saying it’s okay.
Healing does not mean you’re saying what happened was okay.
Healing does not mean your trauma isn’t still valid.
Your trauma has been and will always be valid, regardless of how you’re feeling about it or where you’re at in the healing process.

sometimes memory issues are actually great. I forgot something I did a few days ago (I think) and it made me smile so big.

I think at some point in time we need to sit down and start explaining to artist who want to make a career out of art that there are FAR more options than just "living off of commissions" and "posting my art online and praying I get paid for it".

Your trauma is valid if other people’s reactions to the trauma were more traumatizing than the original event. It is not OK for other people to victim blame, go on a crusade or witchhunt on your behalf without your consent, or pry for details. Those reactions can be harmful and traumatizing.

Plural culture is the host of an endogenic system you date telling you to be glad you have trauma because it made you strong. (Yeah been strictly anti-endo since and no longer making exceptions)
I hate it when anyone says that trauma "made you strong" because it really didn't
What so many people think is strong is just being/feeling broken inside and not being able to properly react to the things around you
Shutting down during stressful events, and somehow people think you're calm, cool, and collected.
Not crying after something bad happens because you were punished for crying and just can't any more, and getting "you're so brave and stoic"
The "strength" trauma survivors show is literally trauma responses that people for some reason think is good.
I hate hearing it from anybody, but from someone you're dating?? That's even worse and I'm sorry that was ever said to you

!!PLEASE STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS!!
There's something called a KOSA Bill in the US. It's a project planning to cut off internet access to ALL CHILDREN WORLDWIDE. This means they are banning Chai/C.AI, Wattpad, AO3, Discord, Tumblr, Tiktok, etc.
To make matters worse, parents will have access to their children's internet activity, meaning chats, websites visited, apps opened, etc. Giving them NO privacy whatsoever. Esp. children who are LGBTQIA+, because in the US, it is deemed "inappropriate".
There is a solution to this, however only to people who have Tiktok, there is a user named omarsbigsister, if you check their profile, you can see in their bio it says "STOP KOSA!! ⬇️⬇️"
Below the text, there's a link. Now before you click on the link, there's a video you need to see, giving you instructions on what to do.
This is the video.
Plz do WHATEVER you can to boost this, tag friends, reblog, share, anything will do.
