Hello friends. I have managed to salvage some of the designs from this project and hope to have them able to be released for Simblreen!! My laptop is, at this point, a lost cause so I have retired from simblr for the time being (can finally use the game on another PC but my saves are gone and this PC can't handle reshade), but I want to use these walls myself so will make them available here too <3

verrrrrry close to finally being done with fancy treehouse pt. 2 (pt 1 here). i wanted to go for a few more neutral walls as well as the ridiculousness of those swans this time around - and even more swatches than last time. these patterns are drawn by hand by myself, and although i make them as kids + toddler room wallpapers, they make for a fun splash of pattern in any room.

Hi friends. Long time since my last log in.

I still don’t have a working laptop. I feel like the chances of me being financially stable enough to buy one are so slim 🥲 but TS4 is still one of my special interests so being apart from it is hard. I miss my legacy. I miss my mutuals, and their sims. I miss being able to spend hours decorating an apartment just cos.

as the night progresses, and the restaurant’s entertainer takes a break, damson suddenly gets up onto the stage. for a second, chance thinks he’s going to sing (and he’s heard damson singing in the shower... it isn’t live performance worthy). but no, damson gets down on one knee and asks chance to marry him... this time for real. chance, of course, says yes.

a very pregnant lennox came over to collect cleo for a few hours so that damson and chance could go on a much needed date night. the place damson picked out was pretty fancy...

at a loss for what to do with a child whilst chance is at work, damson suggests cleo help him cook lunch. it quickly becomes clear that this is just the sort of task to take her mind off losing her mom, so damson decides to teach her how to cook several dishes. it’s the only time he’s seen her smile since she moved in.

damson converts the spare room - aka his office - into a bedroom fit for a nine year old.

the first few days after taking in cleo are hard work. as well as navigating his way through his own grief, chance struggles to know how best to help cleo with hers. all the young girl wants to do is sleep all the time. damson tries to help but he knows nothing about children - he can provide kisses and snuggles for chance, though.

Other people’s legacies are always fascinating to me because you get to look at how genetics have gone through the heirs but obvs Luna wasn’t biologically Goldie’s child, and now Cleo isn’t either so that doesn’t really apply here... I do really like seeing, for example, Phoenix’s children and grandchildren, though, as they do still really look like Goldie!

chance woke up to news he could never have prepared for... his younger sister, miracle, had died in an accident the night before. whilst grief stricken, he had to make a huge decision, one which would change his and damson’s lives forever - and he wasn’t sure their relationship would last it. with nobody else to take her in, chance had been asked if he would become miracle’s daughter’s guardian.

the subject of kids hadn’t really come up before, but he knew damson was uncomfortable around children, even his own nieces and god daughter. cleo was a little older, though, and with no other family (his brother, prize, still at college, and their mother really too old to take on a child) he really was the only option.

damson surprised them both by agreeing to having the little girl move in, even if he did have a lot to learn about taking care of a child...

lennox and jaime hosted winterfest this year! it was a vast improvement on last year’s - even as the hosts shocked everyone by announcing they were expecting two more babies!! damson still isn’t great with the nieces he has, but he made more of an effort knowing that he was going to be needed as a babysitter even more soon...

damson and chance decided to make things a little more official, and move in together. they bought a little two bed house together. this is a huge step forward for our non-committal damson! chance certainly has a more sophisticated taste in interiors... but damson has the spare room for all his junk (including a skeleton he stole from the hospital).

determined to move up in his career, damson purchased a keyboard! somehow, despite growing up with a mother and sister who were both brilliant pianists, he’s somehow worse at piano than he even was guitar!

immediately after beginning to learn, he has to take biskit to the vet. probably just a coincidence... right?
