Managerial Chaos

I’m trying to manifest a prequel season of The White Lotus where Armond and Valentina are chaotic besties that take a free vacation every year to a different white lotus resort. In my heart, they are messy and really torment the manager of that resort.

It would also mean we could get more Tanya, and if that’s wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

I overhauled my entire portfolio website, and I’ve never been so proud of this neon clusterfuck of a gallery. I had so much fun putting it together, and I intend to update regularly with a “NEW ILLUSTRATION” page and everything but the real kicker was building my fake cyberpunk web hell of ads to my other stuff (not only do the ads take you to the spots, but the skip ad takes you direclty to my gallery)

the thing was is i realized im technically not employable because of my disabilities. so instead of doing a sterile portfolio site with the purpose of being given to an art director, i made a playful chaotic mess to please literally only myself. despite the chaos, it’s still functional, and links are live and will show you around.

despite the truly incredible pain that November had for me, i still managed to paint a few bangers and got my portfolio nice, clean and crispy. if you knew what bullshit i was dealing with in the background, you might be impressed but considering how it’s Exactly Bullshit, i’ll spare you the bullshit. It’s bullshit, it’s painful, and it fucking sucks and that’s kind of all anyone needs (or wants) to know. but im still making art, and despite how much i want to get off the fucking ride, i need to be living to do the things that i enjoy and i have too much still left to say. so, put simply, I ain’t goin anywhere except forward. i didnt make it this far to be bested by this crap, and hey. neither did you.

Tom of Penguin

I was doing some ink blot interpretations and I came up with a penguin in a shirt and tie with a hat and sunglasses. He gave me some vague Tom of Finland vibes and I couldn’t get it out of my head until I did this.

He actually turned out so cute, and this is a type I’ve really wanted to try but was a little afraid to. Big black void shapes. It’s really reassuring because I love how he turned out!

I knew I wasn’t going to like this one till the very end. But I didn’t expect it to go from “eh” to one of my fave pieces I’ve ever made in the 11th hour.
