My future plans for horror related stuff with my art are very real though...I am getting a degree in animation not because its the future or whatever but just so I can learn how to animate and make my dreams of more artistic horror media come true 🫶

do you have a picture of the charlie portrait you did for genloss? like Just the portrait without anything else in the photo if yes would you/have you posted it anywhere? i have scowered the internet so intensely for a picture of it on its own but haven't found one

Nope, I haven't posted it anywhere (aside from the screenshot i took of it with sneeg posted on my twitter), which is why you can't find a high quality version of it anywhere Lol

Being a horror artist is awesome because people commission you to draw gore but then you realize you don’t know shit about real human anatomy

I had to pull up the Atlas of Human anatomy for this commission. what the HELL is a Musculocutaneous Nerve

As long as its tagged properly gore, to my understanding, is pretty much fine. I think the most you or tumblr might do is get a mature tag on the post or somethin.

I'm not an expert, but I draw slashers pretty often and haven't gotten in trouble yet so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ahhh I see I see !!! It's nice to know that they put a maturity warning automatically... and I'll also put it in manually if I see that the drawing might be too heavy !!

Tho honestly I'm not sure if I'll be drawing the type of gore that makes people nauseous in that way LOL but it's nice to know for the future incase something horrory I draw might include stuff like that

if i may chime in i must say do not worry because tumblr users absolutely LOVE gore and blood. there are entire like subgenres of posts where people just talk about like cannibalism and blood. And everything. it's really great ^_^

SO please post as much of that sort of thing as you want here! all i'd say otherwise of course is to tag the posts appropriately so people who don't wanna see that content won't while those who do will :]

(and in case you don't know what i mean: here to tag for tws you'd tag a post with say, gore, with basically like "#gore" or "#gore tw")

Ohhhh thank you so much for chiming in !!!! Yea I always make sure to include gore , blood , guns etc in my tags !!!!

I'm just a bit wary because I'm still traumatized from 2021-2022 DSMP twt, they asked me to tag EEVVERRYYTTHIINNGGGG I was so worried all the time x__x

Yea it's working fine 4 me !!! I somehow managed to bypass the rate limit thing on my phone because I kept refreshing and reloading constantly (definitely not because I'm addicted to the app lols....)

And Awww gosh I appreciate it ;u; I'm definitely gonna post more here in the future !!! People seem 2 really like my stuff on here haha it makes me so happy

^ I'm still not sure how tumblr views gore/blood/etc .... on Twitter I managed to build an audience that's OK with that stuff but im unsure how people feel about it on here T__T

Gosh I have more to add. I love horror

The horror imagery in these types of media is like a plus, it's moreso the message between the lines and the overall narrative and message it wants to pass on that is the actual horrifying thing about it, like making you realize something so utterly bizarre and horrific about the real world it makes you second guess everything about your life

I feel like I'm not making any sense it's so hard to type these thoughts out I'm so insane
