Tried to go cold turkey today,

started cold sweating into my bagel and cream cheese at a trendy-bullshit cafe. Ate it anyways, then went home. My turkey is no longer cold, but slightly warm, and it makes me wonder if I'll ever be able to kill this goddamn foul once and for all.

An Underground Library

Swedish artist Susanna Hesselberg recently constructed a library that plunges into an infinite abyss. Visible only from above ground, the intriguing installation is inconspicuously marked and, from a distance, looks as though it’s just a square frame laying on the grass. As viewers approach it, however, they can easily see the stacks of books descending into the earth. Its compact structure is reminiscent of a mining shaft or water well with no apparent bottom.

Scottish sculptor Rob Mulholland creates these eerie mirrored sculptures out of Perspex, a kind of acrylic glass. The pieces create the uncanny effect of blending into their surroundings, at times appearing almost completely camouflaged and yet jumping out at you suddenly as your perspective shifts around them. (Source)
