This has become a day that I dread now each year .. it is the day you left me.

Life has not and will not be the same without you around my sweet Prince. Your wet nose against my arm, your hot breath against my face as you look for a snack, your huff as I tell you to move your big butt.

I miss you each and everyday and will continue to until we see each other again. Keep watching over me and being the best guard dog for Nanny and Poppy.

Losing you has shattered something deep inside me that I don’t know how to rebuild. You weren’t just my pet, you were my only companion in this world, the one soul who never judged me, never left me, and never made me feel alone.

You were my comfort on the hardest nights, my joy in the quietest days, and the only one who seemed to understand me when no one else did. Now, the silence you’ve left behind is unbearable. The house feels empty, and so does my heart. I find myself talking to you like you’re still here, hoping maybe, somehow, your spirit hears me.

Every memory of you is both a treasure and a wound, your gentle eyes, your warm presence, the way you stayed by my side when no one else would. You were my anchor, my light, my family. And now that you’re gone, I feel lost in a world that doesn’t understand how deep this pain truly runs.

I was today years old when I legit realized that two childhood friends passed away on the SAME DATE albeit a few year apart.

Two good guys I was close to #SethLowJuniorHighSchool

One passed 2 years later during our junior year in #JamesMadisonHighSchool

The other many years later unfortunately. I did have the chance to meet up with him a few times randomly just grabbing a drink around #BayRidge in #Brooklyn

Just wanted to wish you and Nanny a happy 74th wedding anniversary! Just knowing you guys are together now gives me ease since she missed you tremendously for those few years.

Everything’s going good. Thanksgiving is Thursday. Holidays aren’t the same anymore without you and nanny but we’re managing. I’m here in NJ for Thanksgiving. Minimal driving so I can watch football lol

Hey Pop, it’s been a little while. Miss you guys like crazy. With another season of baseball starting soon it really gets my emotions going. Not having you around anymore definitely dampens the feel of the game but I know you’re getting your fix in.
