heyyy I saw that you write for Transformers.. you didnt say which transformers though so Ill assume all? just ignore this if not.

could you write something for G1 Soundwave and Starscream both liking the same human reader? headcanons pls

Oh hi!! Yes, I write for all Transformers. I haven't watched them all but for any request I'd research the specific characters to write them as accurate as possible.

You didn't specify if you wanted angsty, lighthearted, etc.. so I'll go with G1 goofiness mixed with my own style. Nor did you specify romantic or platonic. But I think it's Romantic? I couldn't tell if the reader was into them both as well.. so I tried my own approach! If this isn't right, re-send an ask (if you want)! o.o Headcanons below!

Warnings: Kidnapping (but it's not taken too seriously) , slight ignorance towards human comfort and physical limitations , slightly forced relationship but it's ambiguous as to whether it's platonic yearning or romantic yearning , maybe slight yandere?? my kofi if you feel like donating

Soundwave:

Well, you must have done something to get this con's attention. But now you've got it, and you're very much unlikely to lose it.

Soundwave likes to think he's calm and smart.

He's got his cassettes, he's got his position, he's got Lord Megatron.. everything's good.

He never assumed that he'd want a human as well.

And yet, he does.

He treats it as a simple desire to ignore. Like how humans crave chocolate but ignore it and get salad instead.

Well, at least, that's what he thought humans did. He soon found out that it's hard to ignore such cravings.

He couldn't stop thinking of you. So, he'd send out Ravage or Lazerbeak to watch you. Just so he could understand his strange desire further.

It didn't make sense, but he wanted you.

He watched, and admired the little things about you. But then.. one of his Cassettes informed him that Starscream was watching you as well.

He had even taken you in the recent fight..

Soundwave couldn't have that.

Starscream:

You must be quite the organic for Starscream of all Decepticons to like you.

Of course, he'd ignore his feelings at first. Or assume it's his clearly genius processor formatting some sort of plan involving an organic squishy.

But alas, he truly likes you.

Once he realizes his feelings, he denies them insistently. No way does he like a human! They're small, weak, easily crushed but..

Also cute.

He's a very rash individual. What he wants, he gets.

And he wants you.

He doesn't immediately jump into it, of course.

That'd be desperate.

He ignores the stares he gets from others, particularly Soundwave, convincing himself it was paranoia. He was being very careful!

No, he watches.. and waits..

And at the perfect moment, with you struggling to run in the midst of a Decepticon attack..

Well, who would notice if he just hid you in his cockpit?

Small ficlet:

Starscream got you to stop struggling from his affection.

Now you sat still in one hand as the other roughly pet you. He didn't quite have the hang of it, almost pulling out your hair and tugging at your clothes. His metallic hand would pat your head, then roughly slide down and grip your body. Over and over, in a repetitive motion.

He had a nasty grin, you couldn't quite tell what he was feeling but he was certainly pleased.

It's not that he's unattractive or anything, for a giant alien robot.. he is! But you were trying to avoid getting stepped on and he shoved you in a cramped space, shook you around as he walked, jostled you as he flew, and now he's roughly petting you.

Then.. Starscream jolts as the door opens.

"Starscream: Explain" A more robotic voice speaks, though it sounds as if it's accompanied by some sort of auto-tune. He really does speak like a robot constantly making a report. The Third in Command of the Decepticons, Soundwave. It's impossible to tell with his mask, but you suspect he's displeased.

"Wh- Soundwave! Why didn't you knock!? I am your superior-" Starscream yelps when Soundwave slams his hand against the wall, leaning over Starscream and prying into his mind.

There's a brief moment of absolute tension. Then Soundwave pulls back, and stares down at you. He pries you from Starscream's tight grip, attempting to be as gentle as possible. Starscream grunts, and glares at Soundwave.

"..I presume you'll be reporting this incident to Megatron and getting rid of the fleshy?" Starscream asks with a snarl, trying to pretend you mean much less to him than you actually do.

But Soundwave got enough of a read of his emotions from that peek into his mind.

"Soundwave: Might. Unless.." Soundwave continues, then leans forward once more and dangles you in front of Starscream like bait.

It works.

"Unless what?!" Starscream squawks, unable to keep up his uncaring and confident facade for more than a moment.

Soundwave stares, but not at Starscream this time.

At you.

Even you can tell through his red visor, seeing a brief flicker of light, that he's staring right at you.

"Starscream: Will share human with Soundwave."

That was the start of an odd situation.

Starscream didn't know as much about taking care of humans as he thought he did.

Soundwave got you a more comfortable place to rest, food, water, everything you need.

Of course, neither Decepticon let you leave.

They would routinely swap you between their respective spaces.

Starscream hated it, and Soundwave tolerated it.

But if Soundwave just took you, Starscream would make trouble.

And if Starscream kept you, Soundwave would report him.

So they're at an impasse.

And you're in the middle.

It's not all bad.

You think in some.. weird alien robot way that they both love you?

Maybe not exactly romantically, but close enough that they both want to keep and hold you.

They listen to you well enough, as long as you use honeyed words with Starscream and speak more pragmatically with Soundwave.

It's a decent exchange for them, and a new but tolerable change for you.

You might be a pet, or maybe some odd flavor of partner, maybe just a friend. It's hard to tell. But at least you don't pay rent.

I don't have the confidence to share my art yet, but I feel ready to share my ideas for my Transformers AU.

I only have concrete ideas for Starscream and Shockwave (My favorite characters, not a surprise.)

Warnings: Racism(?) , Deadly Scientific Mishaps , Morally disgusting acts of science , technical torture , neutrality to torture , That's honestly all I can think of. Lmk if there's anything else I should add.

Starscream -

Starscream was forged as a performance flier. Specifically made to light up the sky and perform during events. He was heralded as the fastest and most beautiful flier in Vos. He was constantly decked out in flashy colors, bright paints, etc. Some of the future seekers for the Decepticons were fliers like him.

Starscream loved flying, he loved the attention, but he hated being reduced to a pair of (gorgeous) wings. He was more than his flight skills. He was intelligent, strong! But nobody else seemed to notice.

So, out of spite, he enrolled in the Academy of Science in Iacon. Having to bribe his way in.

He excelled in his classes, and met a fellow flier named Skyfire. Skyfire was a shuttle, existing specifically to haul and move cargo. But he had a genius mind. Starscream essentially forced Skyfire to be his friend, seeing many similarities between them. And Skyfire was too soft-spoken to refuse. They did develop a genuine bond, however.

Skyfire was finally recognized, and was assigned a planet to scout and study. Starscream insisted on coming with, and Skyfire agreed. They both marveled at the foreign place, studying the plants, the native species, the landmass, everything.

But there was a complication with their equipment. So while Skyfire was studying the ice, he vanished.

Starscream didn't know what truly happened at that point. But he flew all the way back to Cybertron to get help, because for once his pride didn't get in the way. He knew he wasn't enough to save Skyfire.

The officials launched an investigation and found that Starscream had set up the machines wrong, causing the heater designed to keep them from freezing to overheat. It melted the ice under Skyfire, and he was too heavy to fly out of the icy water.

Starscream insisted it was an accident, and Vos didn't want their best flier to be executed. So they vouched for him. After all, who else but Starscream could fly all the way from a foreign planet back to Cybertron in such a short amount of time?

Starscream was given two options.

He could go back to Vos and continue to perform, but never be allowed to touch science equipment again.

Or, he would go to jail for 500,000 years. He would have to study science pads daily until his release to ensure it never happened again.

He chose option 2.

His loyal side fliers got themselves arrested, not wanting him to be alone in an unfamiliar place. They already let him go to the science academy alone. And look how that turned out. They wouldn't let him be alone in prison.

He and his fliers formed a gang in the prison, and eventually.. met an arrested gladiator who had killed his own master.

Shockwave -

Senator Shockwave was a visionary. He saw no difference between different frame types. He was a scientist who worked to better Cybertron.

He came up with a reformatted caste system, one that would rank people based off of their skills and processors, rather than their frame types. But his revolutionary vision was rejected.

How could a manual laborer be given the chance to rise up to the rank of a scientist? It made no sense to the senate. They insisted there was a stark biological difference between frame types. A miner was physically inferior to a senator. There was no changing that.

Shockwave was livid. There was no proof to those alleged facts. In his mind, it was all conjecture.

So, he sought to prove them wrong.

He kidnapped 1 of every frame type he could. Insecticon, laborer, performer, senator, every single one. And he vivisected every single one of them. There were a few differences, like the Insecticons poison pouch. A nobles frailty compared to the strength of a laborer.

But nothing to suggest innate superiority or inferiority.

Obsessed with his research, and seeing nothing wrong with his actions, he brought his studies to the Prime.

The Prime was horrified, Shockwave was important, a genius, but his experiments were disgusting and immoral. Even a tyrant like The Prime could see it. He ordered Shockwave to cease his experiments and erase all of his research.

Shockwave refused.

Instead, he set up a live broadcast, unveiling his research. Crazed, he insisted that in order to truly prove his research was logical, he would even dissect The Prime himself.

There was no saving Shocksave at that point, he was arrested. But his genius mind, albeit now crazed, was a valuable resource. His body was changed against his will so none would know it was him, his emotions were smothered by new programs in his processor. Shockwave was no longer a senator. He was an experiment.

And so, The Prime acquired a new scientific assistant. One who happened to share a designation with the recently executed senator Shockwave. A sad coincidence. (This was only because Shockwave would only answer to his own designation. That was one thing they couldn't take from him.)

His new logical perspective helped him realize that his previous actions were crazy. But now, his emotions were too dulled for him to regret it all.

One evening, while conducting a dull experiment for The Prime, a spy drone fell out of his vent.

Thats all I have so far. I want every character to have complex backstories that explain how they are now. But its all a lot of effort.

Oh my god being Starscream’s personal bottle fairy sounds like a dream (or more accurately a nightmare but that’s okay we love him <3)

Imagine being constantly hung around his neck, his fingers idly rubbing at your bottle light it was a stim toy, the threat of being able to be squashed just between his fingers at any given moment always hanging over you. He flicks at the bottle teasingly— tinking the glass with an ear piercing sound that rings around you louder than it ever could to him— grinning down at you and calling you pet names, as you were his dear little pet.

And god imagine the chaos when he’s gesturing grandly, not even thinking of the little thing hung around his neck as he moves forward dramatically. You’re slammed from side to side within your glass prison, trying desperately to find your balance, but the glass is too slick for you to lay your hands on stably.

Anyway sorry I went off on this ask I just got very inspired HAHA. I love the fairy idea hehehe

Relic you NEVER need to apologize cause I always love it when you go into detail on your thoughts!!! You're so right, he'd be absolutely terrible.

Desperately pinning your hands and feet to the sides of the bottle only slightly cushions the blow each time Starscream makes a broad, sweeping gesture with his arms. You're battered, bruised, and thoroughly rattled by the time he retreats to his private chambers for the night, uncorking the jar and shaking your addled form into his palm along with a spritz of fairy dust. He handles you just carefully enough to keep from puncturing you with his talon-like fingernails, but not much more than that.

"Well now, little pet," His grin is sadistic as the point of a single nail digs under your chin, forcing it up in an awkward strain as the rest of your body is gripped tight in his fist. His eyes glow with barely-restrained delight as you shiver in his grasp. "How shall we spend our evening, then?"

I saw a post about Overhaul being Transphobic a while ago, and I've been thinking about it. I have a tumblr, so I might as well respectfully contest that notion.

When Twice says 'You pulled that crap when we first met, too!!' he's referring to Overhaul being professional and 'It doesn't matter if I kill your friend, I've got plans and you'll help.'

(This is Twice immediately afterwards)

We get a bit more of a reaction from Overhaul in the anime. He stares, absorbs the information, then he moves on to what he considers more important topics.

As far as I'm aware, he doesn't misgender Magne before or after that aside from this singular occasion.

This is the only moment where he might've been made aware that she was a woman. But..

... I think he was busy being disturbed by germs and blood.

I mean, she did call him a bad boy and make heart eyes but he might've just assumed she was a gay man. And he didn't seem affected by that so he's not homophobic either.

So,

I don't think he's transphobic, I just think he doesn't care to remember stuff about people he considers useless (dead people he can't utilize as tools anymore.)

And if he does misgender her after he was corrected, then please let me know! I love Overhaul but I want to acknowledge all of his flaws as a Character. I haven't read the manga or watched the anime in a WHILE. I only went back to parts I remember to get this stuff. So I might not be 100% correct.
