mannn demon slayer entertainment district arc rlly is the peak of anime to me... idt I'll ever get bored of it. Just pure unadulterated hype for 10 episodes straight, perfect pacing throughout, full cast of lovable characters incl the villains, the ANIMATION OFC, the opening theme (made it to my Spotify wrapped when it came out), actually funny anime comedy throughout that one episode they went undercover....

(Right with it is return to shiganshina arc attack on titan but that's a whole post of its own).

No notes for both of them. Fawwwk anime can be so good when it's good. Quoting that one post I saw, you know an arc has been traumatic when it ends with the characters clinging to each other bawling their eyes out just for surviving... 😭

Hi. I seek advice. You draw your fandom art traditional style, and show them here on your Tumblr, yes? How do you do so without being plagued by the irrational feeling that you're exposing yourself naked when you do it? My drawings feel like private parts of myself and I feel like everyone can see through their skeletons whenever I think of showing them on my blog, even if I know this doesn't make sense. Or is it only me who felt like this? I do better when it's just one-on-one, but other than that, I feel shy for no reason. What do you think?

I relate more to your feeling of exposing yourself and vulnerability with regards to the fic I write. They're a deep reflection of who I am, which makes me feel a little weird. So I post and log out immediately (I have a separate ao3 account for reading purposes) and try to forget I ever posted. I also try to remember that the people who engage with and enjoy my art/fics must relate to some aspect of it. Maybe they just like the pairing, or maybe they relate to the more personal stuff sprinkled within.

But to an extent I understand what you mean about art because I do not post the same stuff on any of my other social media (I post other art but I keep my fanart stuff strictly for Tumblr). I feel comfortable on here because from my experience the people are quite welcoming and nice, and ifl tumblr is one of those places where just by using it, you inherently have something common with all the other users (like... everyone out there would use something like Instagram, but ifl only specific type of people use something like tumblr???). That helps me not worry so much about how I'm being perceived.

I guess my point is that, even when I feel like I'm exposing myself through my drawings or writing, I trust my audience to not take advantage of that fact or to judge me for it (not that I care much about other people's opinions but it's obviously nicer not to have to navigate negativity in the first place)

OP, you don't have to do anything that stresses you out, but a lot of times things are scariest the first time you do it. And while I can't relate to exactly what you're talking about, hopefully there's something here that helps you out. Also this answer ended up being kinda long sorry LOL. guess who just finished fruits basket and is hopelessly endeared by catboy shenanigans. possibly my favourite recurring detail is how much kazuma likes giving head pats to kyo -> kyo must enjoy headpats much like a real cat -> tohru eventually realises this and takes full advantage

I'm not sure if this is a unpopular opinion or whatever but deadass the best episodes of Fairy Tail are the in between slice of life intermission episodes.

I'm talking the episode where the main cast switched bodies. It gave Levy some attention which made what happened to her in the following arc more impactful.

The episode where Juvia accidentally curses the guild as they all deem each other their rivals (Erza squaring up against a pillar and Gray throwing hands with a flying cat)

The episode where Wendy goes on her first mission and we see Freed be the biggest guy failure of all time.

The episode where Macao and Wakaba go through a midlife crisis and turn into monsters while Erza loses her mind and decides to be a superhero for a day.

Those kind of episodes really make me appreciate the cast and fleshes them out more. Even at point giving certain characters dedicated episodes since they have a moment in the following arc. It's absolutely criminal that I've heard people skip them because they're not canon. You're seriously missing out if you do.
