but omg yes i felt they'd sacrificed too much of their childhood, like tyler was doing the cooking and the handiwork as a CHILD and even now their extracurriculars are geared more towards their futures like Taylor's mechanics club's job opportunities and Tyler's baseball team for a sports scholarship

When it comes to the twins I think some people overlook how emotionally mature they are, how emotionally mature they have had to be.

Their mother is basically being out through a cycle of being under the delusion that the LOVE OF HER LIFE is alive and well followed by reality slapping her in the face and her having to grief him all over again... that must suck for the twins to have had to have watched, especially from a young age. I can't imagine how much Marianna loved Ethan, and to have to go that endlessly must be hell for her aswell.

In order to take care of their mother at their young age they would've been forced to emotionally adapt quicker than most humans.

a huge hot take of mine is that LOGAN IS NOT A WIMP. HE'S NOT A PATHETIC BABY. i know that a bunch of people see him as that, and their opinions are slowly changing as he becomes more outwardly sassy and aggressive in the comic but HE WAS NEVER THAT PATHETIC IN THE FIRST PLACE. red stated that he canonically has social anxiety, and it's a little bit of a headcanon of mine that he's actually pretty confident in his abilities, he just gets too nervous when around others to actually show it. like he was already showing confidence waaaay back in the arcade when he decided he wanted to confront barron, but people are only choosing to acknowledge it now. PLEASE THE FANDOM NEEDS TO START SEEING LOGAN AS SOMEONE WHO CAN STICK UP FOR HIMSELF

Ashlyn laid in her bed, she was trying to sleep, but apparently that wasn’t an option. She thought about Aiden, about how he died. It was her fault after all. It was hard to explain, she knew that logically, it wasn’t her fault, but it still felt like it was her fault. She got up from her bed, going to grab her notebook.

She flopped back onto her bed criss cross applesauce. She started writing an apology in the notebook.

Dear Aiden,

My condolences reach out to you. I am truly sorry that you ended up dying in the Phantom Dimension. I failed to protect you, failing my job as a leader, as well. I have failed my job as a leader multiple times, which is why I am resigning as the leader. Tyler and Ben are in charge now, they will take my job as the leader.

Taylor will drive during missions since she has the most driving experience out of you all. The missions you all should need to have completed are getting gun ammo from the gun shop; grab my parents’ military combat gear to use against the phantoms; get gasoline from the gas station(the jeep’s about to run out); and new suits as ours have been broken and torn beyond repair. Yes, this means I am killing myself.

She read it over. Yeah, no, she was definitely not giving him that. She wouldn’t even be able to kill herself without getting caught, anyways. Curse you mother and father.

Aiden was walking around her house, he was originally going to grab snacks, but he changed his mind. She had also asked him to grab her phone for her, which was also why he was in her room. He saw her notebook splayed open, a bunch of doodles covering the words on the paper. They were probably notes for that one history test, so it wouldn't hurt to read them. So he read them. It was a fucking suicide note.

“Ashlyn, why the actual hell was your suicide note on your desk?!”

“Uh, I got bored?” She sounded unsure about it herself.

“Were you planning on killing yourself when you wrote that? At least answer that honestly,” he asked her, concern evident in his voice.

“God no! I would get caught immediately. I would have to do it in the lobby or some shit.”

“WHY WOULD YOU EVEN KILL YOURSELF IN THE LOBBY????”

“I’M NOT PLANNING ON KILLING MYSELF IN THE LOBBY.”

“THAT DOESN’T MAKE IT ANY BETTER.”

things I'd really really really love to see in sbg season 3🥳🥳

but it's midnight at the time i'm writing this and my brain is only half-working

as we all know sbg season 2 has come to an end😞😞 and suddenly I don't look forward to Wednesdays as much anymore HOWEVERR since Red has made her presence known on Tumblr this place cannot be more perfect to share my thoughts and expectations (absolutely no pressure🙏🙏) for the next SBG season since I refuse to believe it ends like that like you CANNOT tell me that's how their story ends😞😞

1. Starting off simple— they HAVE to reunite one way or another because I doubt they'd be able to survive too long in pairs because over the course of SBG they really have grown somewhat dependednt and EXTREMELY attached to each other 🙏

-Ashlyn and Ben

Ashlyn will most likely blame herself for the group's current predicament— split up. And putting the two characters who have trouble communicating together is a CRIME however I'm kinda excited to see how it plays out (I love their dynamic together and I really wanna see their development as a duo especially now as they can communicate with ASL

-Logan and Taylor

i don't know how to explain them but i love them so much like they're just adorably together like a bubbly extrovert and a timid introvert (not infantilizing okay) they just make me really happy i just wanna throw something

I can see this one happening omgosh like Taylor worrying and being inconsolable being away from Tyler who's literally her other half just like the painful few hours in the phantom dimension after Tyler fell out of the jeep and the dreadful wait in the hospital combined with the hours-long search for his body that same night— angst yes— and then Logan trying his best to comfort her like maybe he steps out of his comfort zone and tries a hug because thats how she comforts him or maybe he'll try distracting her by talking about astronomy or plants like omg😭😭

The exposition of the characters through the class introductions with their likes and interests and stuff I feel wasn't utilized as much as it could've and I wish we get to see more of it this season 😞

and their weapons like where did Taylor's spiky ball go😞

Logan - we still haven't gotten his backstory in full like you can't just tell us you have ties with the Mafia then never talk about it again🙏🙏

Taylor - Like mentioned with their skill sets, she was said to have been in the mechanics club even for career opportunities too (mentioned) so I really want to get to see more of mechanic Taylor😞 Like make her go full Violet Baudelaire mode and cook something up

Or perhaps when I accidentally saw Ares naked in the gymnasium. That had been enough to turn my hair white for a century.

Yes, me, Apollo...ashamed. Truly, it was an event so unpredictable it should have ripped apart the cosmos.

I didn't understand the purpose of the seeds, but it was comforting to know that in a direction emergency I could hit people with my ukulele while Meg planted geraniums.

Any of the moments when Rhea called Apollo 'man' or just randomly says chill and basically uses millennial slang (I think millennial) is just hilarious lol

Out of ideas, I tugged my Brazilian-flag handkerchief from my neck and waved it like a maniac, trying to channel my inner Paolo.

'BACK, FOUL ANTS!' I yelled 'BRAZIL!'

The tone of the scream reminded me of Hera whenever she stormed through the hallways of Olympus, yelling at me for leaving the godly toilet seat up. (LMAOOO CHILL HERA CHILL)
