I wanted to stay away from the big leak for Pokémon mostly (although beta Pokémon designs are always super interesting) but I got way too curious about anything regarding the anime, since I had a suspicion that the end of Journeys and the mini series after that was not planned.

And the leaks do indeed confirm: The mini series with Ash, Misty and Brock was NOT initially planned and mostly shoved in to pad time until Horizons! That explains so much, because for them to make a series only involving the og trio they would have to find a reason why Gou wouldn't wanna travel with them, since the story never gave him a reason why he wouldn't wanna keep traveling with his best friend.

So that's why suddenly, only two episodes before the end (four if you count Gou suddenly thinking he relies on his Pokémon too much), they give him this change of heart and basically start a whole new character arc of Gou actually having to travel by himself after all.

Also explains why the supposed celebratory special opening for the mini series was just a slide show of old scenes lol they literally didn't have the time to actually make something new.

Idk why, but knowing this just makes me really happy, because it shows that everyone who was saying that there's multiple reasons why Gou wouldn't leave Satoshi was not just huffing copium, but actually more likely than not correctly read the original intention and also correctly identified that there was a barely covered last minute change regarding the ending. Not sure if the end of Satoshi's journeys was still planned or not, it probably was. But I suspect they were initially going for a less abrupt end and switch to Horizons more smoothly.

Also, very important, the leak also contained a character sheet for Gou among things. And it said that he is a "feminine looking boy who feels self-conscious about his looks, so he purposefully dresses more boyish". Also he speaks in a Yokohama dialect (because that's what the city he lives in is based on), likes to play Pokémon video games online and is a perfectionist who doesn't like doing things that he doesn't consider himself perfect at (explaining for example why he didn't want to battle in that tournament). The latter definitely changes through Satoshi encouraging him to try out new things and all.

It‘s scary to see how very important european petitions get no visibility whatsoever. We had a basic income petition last year which failed because not enough people knew about it. Now we have a „tax the rich“ one that only lasts until october this year and only has around 250k out of 1 mio. signings.

Most EU people go through their every day life w/o knowing about them. There are no ads, no marketing…nothing. I know that costs money though one might think important petitions that lead to a better and progressive life would be supported by the government or ministries in some way, but nooooo

And why should they? It’s petitions that would help out the poor and middle class, but endanger capitalism and their exploitation, sooo: government and business leads for example.

(omg voice reveal) I adopted this lil man one year ago today! It was a very eventful but fun year with him, as even the picking up itself was quite the ordeal. He's very chaotic (as you can see), surprisingly vocal for a hamster and pretty dramatic. Also he used to be terrified of hands due to his previous home, but recently he let me hold him for the first time! I love this little weirdo a whole lot and hope we get to spend another year full of silly hampter business! 🐹❤️

It's a feral beast!! That one cat plush of him is so cute.... I tried to tell myself that I should maybe not start to buy merch of him for the sake of my wallet because there's just too much. But.. but this plush was too pawmesancore for me not to get it.

Headcanon that the three of them meet up every two to three months to just hang out and talk about their travels. But each time Satoshi and Gou act like they haven't seen or heard from each other in several years.

I have seen lots of Zenitsu as a Pikachu fanart out there, but in my undeniable bias, I present to you Zenitsu as the perfect being known as Pawmi.

Also unrelated but I've only been drawing in bw for so long due to my stgo comic that drawing in colour again feels so unreal.

I had bitterballen for the first time last year in Belgium and I fell in love ever since. But I can't get them where I live so I'm expressing my desire for them through the gay Pokéboys.

Satoshi is a Syrian hamster eating pumpkin seeds and Gou is a winter white dwarf. The latter is based on my very real winter white dwarf who is named after Gou :P

Hi hello I haven't posted here in a while again. Mostly because I have been using all my drawing power for a fancomic that I've been working on for the past year.

However, that means that by now that comic has 89 pages and posting all of them on here in one go would mean several posts and I don't want that. So instead, until I eventually finish this thing, I will just post random scenes and pages or some.

And for this first post, I will just share random panels with Gou because it is a lot of fun drawing him do silly little expressions.

As for the story of this: It's more of a mystery story so I can't say that much about the plot. But the gist is that it plays in an AU where Satoshi wanders around somewhere where he finds Gou. Gou is quite the unique sight, as he looks like a mix between a human and Pokémon and speaks in broken English.

Gou is in search of someone and Satoshi decides to help him find him. On the way they meet Koharu as well, who joins in on the search.

Ahahah oh no, I forgot about this post. But it sure aged like milk huh. (A bunch of my text posts share the same fate but I just leave them up because whatever)

What remains is I guess a headcanon of the boys hanging out in Paldea though, that's something. :P
