I’m happy that I could fixed him way better than GameToons made! Also I saw that someone said GameToons stole the character from someone’s Oc, I remember someone also told me that they think GameToons stole their Oc for Frowny which the Oc from the person looked similar to Frowny, but now I fixed the character and made him more likely a Smiling Critter instead the opposite that GT did!

Okay here me out for a second

I’ve saw the pictures of each Smiling Critters bio descriptions of the description bio pictures and the notebook one but I saw this and I like the concept it’s says there

“The Show combined wild and wacky adventures with a strong moral message for it’s young audience”

This was my HeadCanon that the Smiling Critters would be similar to MLP FIM and Bluey where there are wacky adventures they are going like MLP FIM does but has also messages for kids like Bluey does! (Guess it kind got canon)

But also it says they had only one season and then that was it (in my HeadCanon I thought they would have like 4 or 5 seasons because i added Frowny Fox as the ninth Critter in the group and he would have appeared in season 2 or 3!)

Also what really made me curious on it it mentions there that the show wasn’t really liked either because of CatNap, funny that in the Artworks of the Smiling Critters CatNap is goofy and dilly there as he would be but they say peoples felt uncomfortable that he doesn’t speak at all cause he’s supposed to be a calm character and that he wants to put the others in sleep.

Here are some more Re-Designs,Re-write bio‘s and changing names of some content farmers Smiling Critters I did!

(Some Re-design of Molly and Clawion belongs to: Crittersandmorecritters)

Since I made Frowny Fox a better Critter I thought to make some other Content farmer Critters a Re-design and Re-write bio.

(These Critters will be not a part of the 8 main Critters like Frowny in my AU/HeadCanon, but they will be similar like The Young 6 of MLP FIM!)

Clawion - he is from GameToons and gave him a orange likely color cause it has more of a lion vibe in it, his pendant is still the same since it does fit for him. Clawion‘s original name is actually CleverClaws but thought it wasn’t really creative so I gave him the name Clawion. (New voice I gave him is the Bubba GameToons voice)

Tiny Tigress - Tiny is from Buggy Wuggy and I do like the original design but only changes I gave him was the colors and the pendant. Since the clover didn’t really matched him I gave him a kapow pendant. (New voice I gave him is Anxiety from Inside Out 2)

Shelly Seashell - Shelly is from GameToons again and since it wasn’t really told what her pendant was meaning I thought Nature could be her thing, (Shelly is in GameToons a boy but changed the Critter into a girl) also original name of her is SillyShelly but I’ve also changed that cause I wanted to give her more of an matched name for her nature love. (New voice I gave her is Bart from the Simpsons)

JollyJaws - Jolly is also from GameToons and he is the only character design I let be excepted the colors and the Pendant (RUMOXCIDE made a great re-design of his pendant so I inspired and changed a little) I think JollyJaws might be my favorite out of all. (New voice is Freddie from season 1 ICarly)

Molly McMoo - Molly is another GameToons one and since I saw someone changed her colors into pink I thought it looks much cuter then the purple color on her, I decided to make Molly as a musical Critter, she fits more with melody’s and harmony with the notes since I was also not sure what versions GameToons has for her. (New Voice for her iss Izzy from MLP G5)

CrockyRocky - this one is from Buggy Wuggy and I did like the idea of him being Kickin‘s brother but at the same time I thought it didn’t really make sense but I decided to make him like Kickin a rockstar type Critter but most a loyal friend to KickinChicken! Only what is changed on him is the color and his pendant, his pendant is originally like Kickin‘s a star but in yellow but i thought I would give him a sparkle pendant. (New voice for him is Button Mash from MLP FIM)

Riddle Roody - Riddle Roody is also from Buggy Wuggy and I changed her personality to be someone who knows sharing is important and stealing is like being a thief, originally she is a critter who steals others stuffs which is the completely opposite of a Smiling Critter so i thought I turn her into the opposite. (New voice for her is Spellinda from the Zelfs)

Pixie Pipsqueak - Pixie is originally Miss CatNap from GameToons but I changed a lot on her, I changed her into a squirrel Critter since the re-design of RUMOXCIDE looks for me more likely a squirrel design which is so cute and I also gave her a completely new name. (New voice of her is Buttershy from the Zelfs)

PuppyPoppy - Poppy is also a GameToons one and she is actually supposed to be Miss DogDay (female DogDay) but since I saw her original design I thought I wanna turn her into more a pastel red/pink color and she’s supposed to be likely a Cockerspaniel/Poddle. Also in fact I did inspired the doll Poppy a bit for her since when I started to make a re-design for her I thought she could likely look like Poppy with her ears so I also gave her the name PuppyPoppy. (New voice is from Fluttershy from MLP FIM)

Whiskerella - and the last Critter we have is Whiskerella, she is also from GameToons and since she is the romance one in the GameToons version I thought I would give her a likely Fashionable personality that she not only sees fashion on the outside but also on the inside in peoples minds and hearts as well! The reason why i thought about this is because when I saw RUMOXCIDE‘s Re-design of her i thought immediately she could be some a sort of an Fashion kid! (New voice I gave her is Vampula from the Zelfs)

Frowny Fox’s re-design and new bio description! 🦊🌧️

(Inspiration of his Re-design belongs to: Localgremlinenthusiest)

Frowny is now in my AU/HeadCanon a part of the Critter Crew! (The ninth Critter)

Reason is because most peoples wished Frowny deserves better so I thought

I’ll make him a part of the Critter Crew and re-wrote his story and bio that he’s like the other Critters more a caring Critter instead someone who’s sad all the time!

I’m not a fan of GameToons or liking this content farm channel since they ruined The Critter‘s personality’s but Frowny was the only character I thought was alright

Until I saw someone’s re-design (Localgremlinenthusiest) and really fell in love with the design and thought

“This is the best looking design for Frowny Fox! Why didn’t they thought to make some design like this instead the final one?”

So here we go! :)
