I'll be honest, a lot of the ships where I've seen people say they "match each other's freak", I think they complement each other's freak more than anything. Like they're both freaks, but in different ways.
But Bishova? Oh, they match each other's freak to an insane degree.
Because truthfully, they're the same kind of crazy. If Kate needed to talk to someone and she had their address, she would totally break in and make food while she waited for them to come home. And if Yelena needed to talk to someone, and she couldn't get into their house? She would absolutely spam them with annoying phone calls until their mailbox was full. If you didn't know, you'd probably think Yelena's "we're both doing a really good job!👍" line from Black Widow was from Kate, and charging at someone's face with a sword to prove that they're lying is totally something Yelena would do. Kate would absolutely (accidentally) name her team after her peewee soccer team, and if she'd had the chance, Yelena definitely would've pitched terrible superhero names for herself like "Lady Widow" to Natasha.
Because the sad, beautiful truth of it is, they're basically the same person with the most polar opposite upbringings imaginable.

It’s not my best work, but I had a vision...

(By the way, while looking for images of the throne, everyone shows up sitting on it except Sabine, and I find that disrespectful.)

I realized that if I had just focused on one fanfic instead of writing four at the same time — updating each about once a month or updating two fics per month — I would’ve already finished the first two I started.

Is Sabine Force-sensitive?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Kinda. Let me explain.
After watching Star Wars: Rebels like 10,000 times and rewatching Ahsoka another five or so, I feel confident saying:
Sabine is Force-sensitive — but she’s not a Force-user.
And I mean that in the same way that, in real life, some people can walk into a room and feel the bad energy, or just know they’re in danger. But then there are people who can "see" ghosts or "do" witchcraft — Sabine is more the first kind.
Ahsoka saw that tiny spark in Sabine and tried to light a fire. Sabine has combat experience, she's fought Force-users (Kinda), and she’s been immersed in that environment. (It’s way easier to train someone who's already been exposed to the world than to start from scratch.)
The issue is: Sabine is just a faint ember under the ashes of the Force.
She’s not a stack of wood ready to be set ablaze like Ezra or Anakin.
She’s simply... there.
And I think that’s her tragedy.
Sabine is so many things — an artist, an engineer, a daughter, a Mandalorian, an heir, a former Imperial prodigy. But the one thing everyone expects her to become after all the loss, all the grief, all the weight of the past… is a Jedi.
And Sabine fails at that — miserably.

The best fucking idea ever. #bishova and Star wars. Hell yeah.
More thoughts on Star Wars Bishova
Inquisitor Yelena being sent to hunt down Jedi Clint
Inquisitor Yelena having a more personal reason than just “hunting Jedi”, as she thinks Clint got Natasha killed, her ex sister inquisitor who escaped Imperial control
Padawan Kate taking her by surprise and disarming Yelena, but ultimately decides to grab Clint and flee for safety instead of fighting
Inquisitor Yelena who can’t shake the thoughts of the Padawan that wasn’t part of the original mission and decides to hunt her instead, but for mild interrogation (and flirty banter)
Kate who finds a droid with only one optic working named LK-33
Kate can sense under all Yelena’s anger and hate and grief that she just wants someone to be able to talk to, and boy can Kate talk
(More flirty banter ensuing)
Lightsaber duels where Yelena is absolutely going easy on Kate, which eventually leads to both Kate and Yelena expressing interest in each others forms and teaching the other some different moves)
Kate who, after learning about some of the Inquisitor training programs from Clint, just tries to treat Yelena softly and Yelena, who has never been treated softly a day in her life outside of Natasha, being so distrustful of everything Kate is doing
Kate just offering tea to Yelena around a campfire, eventually falling asleep with her lightsaber a couple yards away and her back to the Inquisitor
Yelena who can’t believe someone so stupid would be trying to kill her, so she drinks the tea and keeps watch over the Padawan until sunrise
Yelena who must eventually complete her mission, and Kate who thinks that the entire time they’ve been bonding has just been a ploy to get closer to Clint
Yelena who returns Kate’s sparing gesture and allows Clint to live because she can’t bear the thought of Kate going down the same path of grief Yelena went down
There is SO much potential with them I am smashing them together like dolls

Rebel Baylan AU – what would happen if Luke became Baylan’s Padawan alongside Shin:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shin (9 years old) finds Luke (13 years old) in trouble while they’re on Tatooine. She helps him escape, pulls him onto her ship, and tells Baylan they need to leave immediately (they’re being chased). Baylan doesn’t ask questions—he listens. When he turns to see what Shin’s talking about, there’s a boy standing beside her.
Luke ends up staying with them longer than expected, because Baylan has to finish a task for the Rebellion. Eventually, they return to Tatooine to bring Luke back.
Uncle Owen has a rare moment of clarity. He agrees to let Baylan take Luke as his Padawan—on one condition: they have to come back from time to time.
1. When Baylan learns that Luke's last name is Skywalker, he immediately tells the boy it’s not going to work and asks him to change it. Baylan, of course, suspects he’s Anakin’s son—especially after finding out that Luke's father’s old friend was named Kenobi.
2. At some point, Baylan realizes what he’s done: he’s gotten himself his own Obi-Wan (Luke) and Anakin (Shin).
3. Eventually, he sits Luke down and tells him everything he knows—and exactly why he asked him not to use the Skywalker name.
4. Luke and Shin become like siblings. They love each other fiercely and would kill for one another. This causes Baylan some very valid concern. The kids assure him it would only happen in an extreme scenario, which does absolutely nothing to calm his nerves.
5. When Luke’s kyber crystal turns out to be green—just like Baylan’s—the old Jedi feels oddly relieved. He doesn't even know why.
6. When Shin’s crystal emerges in a strange orange hue Baylan has never seen before, he seriously considers banging his head against a wall.
(No prophetic children in this house. Please.)
7. Eventually, Baylan and Obi-Wan cross paths—since Luke occasionally returns to Tatooine. Neither of them handles it well.

Sabine & Shin – wedding attire.
Tumblr media
I wasn’t sure how to dress them at first, but I have this headcanon—can’t even trace where it started—that Mandalorian wedding fashion draws from South Asian aesthetics (India/Pakistan region).
And Shin? She feels like Eastern Europe.
