ok- Hi

I know I said I'd start being a little more active on here, and I fully intended on doing so-

But I might've gotten hustled into a shady company that required me to pilot a ship with a bunch of people I didn't know to random planets to loot these apparently abandoned planets- although turns out there was life on quite a lot of them, but the company literally said nothing about it?? Literally almost lost my drawing hand a few times- Also the CEO of the company might've been some eldritch creature??

But then I realized I was stuck in a hyperfixation that distracted me from my other hobbies and I woke up.

But now that I'm -actually- back, I am still planning on a routine that works best with my schedule so I can work on- you know- actually start communicating with people in the art realm.

The Spoingle has arrived!

(I guess that’s what type of creature I am bc I heard a friend call me by that and I thought it was cool)

It’s mostly the same design except for a few tweaks here and there to color and detail- oh and I got glasses finally

I can’t remember if I added this before, but I was mostly inspired by deer, lung dragons, and jackalopes due to their symbolism in their cultures, as well as the connections I've made with them

But that's for another post!

Hi! (I'm finally somewhat active again)

Hi!! Long time, no see! I mean- REALLY LONG time no see!

I hope this return finds you guys well!

I apologize that I just kinda disappeared without notice, as I was nearing a turning point in my life that I didn’t have a ton of energy to communicate it with.

It wasn’t so much of a dangerous time as it was just distressing and confusing; finally coming to terms with my flaws and grounding myself in reality. I started reading more into mindfulness lessons and looking into my family history.

(By the way, would highly recommend When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chӧdrӧn! It’s a soothing read that helps explain how becoming familiar with your fears can help you grow. TONS of lightbulbs went on for me, and TONS of quote-worthy wisdom. Master Oogway would be pleased.)

Since then, I’ve been taking on a few more responsibilities, a part-time job, and I’ve set a few other goals for myself that will help me grow as a person.

I still won’t be around as often as I used to for the betterment of my mental health and overall mindfulness, but I promise, I’ll still read your feedback and convos and I appreciate them greatly!

As for what this means for Tricore, not a lot will change… at least not output wise. I still dedicate time to develop concepts, do research, all that jazz, so it most certainly isn’t dead! Just reaaaallly quiet. I’ll be sure to post an update every now and then. ;)

I plan on posting an updated reference of my online persona in a bit since my style has developed some. See you there, and I look forward to getting back to it!

TLDR: I accidentally took a hiatus without notice to discover more about myself and basically refreshed my life as a result-
