I’d love to know people’s viewpoints on single practitioners basing their own rituals, personal ceremonies and spell work on their knowledge of witchcraft in a different culture to their own

for example:

A white male who has educated themselves thoroughly on black culture and history in New Orleans using crafts that are relative to this culture.

A Chinese-American female, born in USA discussing ancient Maori magic and history with a close knowledgeable friend (with descendants who practiced these traditions). Proceeding to intergrate it into her own practice.

Having pretty poor mental health is so sucky like you're either completely numb and indifferent to absolutely everything which makes you sad because you want the ability to feel happiness when you should, or you're so swept off your feet overwhelmed and you don't know which way is up and you never seem to be doing the thing you're supposed to I just want my brain and I to stop resisting each other for one minute so I can actually act and feel like a human being

Is it just me or are in home libraries like the dreamiest thing? A little cozy room lined with shelves, full of books of all shape and color that you’ve collected over the years, with a big round window in an alcove where you can sit and sip some tea and thumb through your favorite novel and listen to the rain pattering against the glass. How is your life and what is the purpose of it all

My life is good as fuck I feel like I'm finally getting my shit together slightly maybe hahah

As for purpose, I don't know if there is one (not in an emo negative way, like maybe we should all do stuff that makes us happy without delusion of higher power having an intricate plan) but also there definitely could be a purpose and everything we do is fulfilling that whether we like it or not ?????
