2 Moons 1 Cup
This fix and others can be found here on AO3.
It's the last cup of water, sitting there on the portable folding table. It's another hot day in Thailand and they've been outside almost all day.
Ming smiles as he reaches for the small paper vessel. Surely his little Kit will appreciate a refreshing drink.
Suddenly another hand is reaching for the liquid at the same time, both of them look up to face each other at once.
Pha
They make eye contact and both their eyes narrow in an unspoken challenge.
Let's see who loves their not-quite boyfriend the most.
Sure, Pha might be a little bulkier than Ming but there is no FUCKING way he is letting KitKat go without hydration.
GAME
ON
Ming hip bumps Pha with all his might (or strong enough to make him stumble, but not knock him over, he isn't a monster) then grabs water and bolts. Trying his utmost not to spill a drop.
Pha recovers quickly and curses as he sprints after.
Ming grins haughtily, he's already won. Kit will get his water and Ming will get the attention from the smaller man that he so desperately craves.
Kit is watching the entire exchange from a distance with amusement, it's when he sees Ming rushing toward him happily that a devilishly devious idea comes to mind. He grins wickedly and waits for the right time.
Ming is almost to him when Kit surges forward with lightning speed as he swipes his foot into Ming's legs, causing the younger to trip.
It's almost like slow motion Kit watches Ming tumbling to the ground with an expression of shock, fear, and betrayal. The water goes flying as Ming lets it go to pull his hands up to brace himself for the fall. Ming hits the pavement with a loud "Oof" and the faint clattering and splashing of the disposable cup of H2O.
Kit fucking loses it.
He's falling over himself cackling like a maniac as Ming turns himself around to prop himself up on his elbows. Pha is running up from behind and stops at the scene, resting his hands on his knees as he catches his breath. Ming looks at Kit like a beat dog and appears almost like he may soon cry; Kit might be inclined to feel bad if it wasn't just so DAMN funny.
"P'Kitkat!" Ming whines from his spot on the floor. He slams the heel of his shoe down as he pouts angrily.
"That water was meant for you!" Ming let's out with a childish noise of complaint.
Kit is out of breath and wheezing as he offers his hand to help Ming up. Ming obliges and dusts his uniform off huffing grumpily.
Pha at this point is just enjoying the show.
"I'm so sorry!" Kit cries out between tears of laughter, "but I'm not sorry. That was hilarious."
Ming is still standing in his spot pouting like a big puppy.
"But now you don't get water, it's hot and you might get dehydrated," Ming complains as he mopes, swinging from heels to the front of his feet.
Kit sighs.
"Come on you idiot." Kit says and grabs Ming's hand to drag him off and leaving a gawking Pha behind.
"Let's have lunch, my treat."
Kit doesn't even have to look back to know Ming is grinning from ear to ear, but he does anyway because he secretly really loves his smile.

I Would Rather Date You Chapter 6

Creeping in Lynn tried to suppress a giggle, removing her shoes and tiptoeing around Two's apartment. Slowly she moved through the apartment leaning her head around corners to spot Two before she could be seen. Should she try scaring him? She couldn't decide.
She halted her movement when she noticed he was asleep at his desk, laptop still open. She grinned mischievously as she approached, poised to attack. What was on the screen of Two's computer caught her eye before she could strike.
It was a wonderfully captured photograph of Un. Lynn smiled, at least they were getting along. She had worried there would be problems between them when she truthfully had no interest in Un as anything but a friend.
Curious, Lynn moves the mouse over to the "next" arrow and clicked, it was another photograph of Un, equally as lovingly shot, then another. He had a folder specifically dedicated to his shots of Un. Each one feeling more like it was taken with the utmost care.
Lynn decided she would pretend she hadn't seen this, moving the picture back to the first one she had seen she went back to the door, slipping her shoes back on she made like she was just entering, this time rather loudly.
Two shot up looking confused and alarmed, when his eyes found Lynn his hand shot to his laptop.
"Good morning, Two!" She greeted and made more of the way that Two shut his computer as she approached. He had not wanted her to know about them.
"Come on sleepy head." She said, gently combing through the tired man's hair. "Let's go get some breakfast."
They are at their usual breakfast spot, Two dragging on the ground like the walking dead. Lynn watching with amusement as he plops down at an outdoor table and seems to immediately flop forward into the surface to rest his head. He reminded her of a felt puppet.
Lynn orders the breakfast he usually get on their outing with an espresso for Two. While they wait she chats to him casually about her project and her family antics, Two just grunts and groans in reply.
She's giggling at Two when a familiar voice catches her attention, Un. He is walking up to a separate table to chat with a man with rather light hair, she isn't the only one who notices. Lynn watched as within seconds Two transforms from living corpse to animated in seconds.
"Un! Hey! Over here!" He shouts to him from across the café.
Lynn puts her head down as other people stare in anger at the sudden disruption. Un is coming over now and Two is practically bouncing. She watches with sharp eyes their interaction, the fond smiles, the excessive touches that sometimes linger, and the unabashed look of affection in Un's eyes. Another seed of doubt has been planted.
It's when their breakfast arrives at the table and Un is about to excuse himself and Two take out his camera to snap a picture that Lynn realised that what she has been growing at this point is considered a garden.
The rest of the day goes by in a blur of Two talking about Un, things he said or places they went. It hurts but Lynn keeps a smile and suggests more things to do because she wants to savor this time together, wants to cherish these moments of seeing his smile as his girlfriend.
It's late at night when Two is finally driving Lynn back to her car.
Lynn unbuckles her seatbelt and reaches for the door handle of Two's car. She almost opens the door, almost leaves and lets her thoughts lie. She closes her eyes, counts to three, then opens them.
"We need to talk." She forces out, before she loses the will to address this divide.
She meets eyes with Two, who is looking at her with a mix of worry and something deep in the sadness of his eyes that tell her he already knows what's about to happen.
"Do you love me?" She asks, a newfound courage strengthening her words.
"Of co-"
"No!" She interrupts.
"I asked do you love me. Not 'do you care for me,' not 'do you like me,' not 'do you want to be my friend.'"
Her intense gaze is boring into Two, demanding he give her the truth.
"It's a simple question that I think you know the answer to."
Two looks lost, eyes darting around like he is literally searching for his answer in the air around him.
He isn't speaking so Lynn decides to continue, give the answer for him.
"We have known each other for so long. I know you, I love you. Really, I do."
She can't keep looking at Two, so she turns her face down, move her line of sight to directly in front of her as she talks.
"We care about each other, and we have fun together, but I know you have never really seen me as your girlfriend. It's all over your face, the way you look at me it's not-"
Like the way you look at Un she thinks.
There are tears forming in her eyes, making it hard to see. She closes her eyes to try to stop them from getting out.
"We should end this lie we have been living." She states.
She opens her eyes and turns to Two again, he looks on the verge of tears, but remains silent.
"As much as I love what we had, how much I wish we could go on pretending, I don't want us to keep each other trapped. I don't want to feel like I'm keeping you from happiness."
She can't keep the tears down, they spill out onto her cheeks and her voice breaks as she says, "I want us to find people who can give us the love we need, Two. Find someone we can love and love us back completely."
She wipes her eyes and sniffles as she rests her hand on the car's handle again. She looks back at him.
"I'll call you when we have had time to think. I hope we can stay friends."
She exits Two's car, trying to hold herself together as she drives herself home and climbs the steps to her apartment. She fumbles for the keys and jams the key in the lock with shaky hands. When the door opens, she is faced with the sight of Un sitting in the living room watching TV. Seeing him only hurts more so she hangs her head as she walks to her room as fast as she can go, leaving the front door wide open and a puzzled Un to close it.

I Would Rather Date You Chapter 5
All current chapters can be found here on AO3.
The next time Two sees Un it may or may not have been on purpose.
Lynn had offhandedly mentioned where he would be, so Two decides what if he just also happened to be there? They were something like friends, so it wouldn't be weird for him to say hi if they had happened to spot each other, right? Two believes it's completely acceptable, entirely disregarding the details of how and why they were at the same place, at the same time, on the same day.
Okay, so maybe it was a little strange, Two admits. Two grips his steering wheel tightly and presses his forehead to the back of his hands and sighs. Closing his eyes he tries to steel his nerves enough to actually DO what he came to do. Creep on his girlfriend's roommate.
*knock knock*
The sound of tapping on his window spooks him and Two jumps back from the driver's side window.
"SHIT!"
Perhaps it was also a bad idea to park only three spots away from him. Two regrets it all. He rolls down the window and plasters on a friendly face.
"Un! Hey! What are you doing here?" He asks, pretending to be surprised.
Un is watching him with concern, "are you okay?" He asks, ignoring Two's attempts at seeming casual.
"Oh yes, I'm fine! Why do you ask?" Two replies, with a fake smile and pleasant façade.
"Well, you have been sitting in your car for ten minutes with your head down. I was worried you may need help."
Oh, he needs help alright, Two thinks.
"I'm just a bit tired." He gives as an excuse, hoping it's good enough to get Un to stop looking at him like that. Like there is something terribly wrong with him. Even though Two can admit, solely to himself, that there is no logical explanation for him to want to befriend a guy he hadn't even known a week ago so DAMN badly. If anyone else suggested so he would deny it and adamantly insist it was normal- if Un questioned it- he would feign ignorance entirely.
"Want to go get a coffee, then?" Un asks. Great! This is what he had wanted, but why does he feel like this whole thing thus far has been a train wreck?
"Yeah, sure, that's a good idea."
Two allows himself to be taken to a small coffee shop hidden away from the public streets. It feels welcoming there are a good amount of customers. Two supposes that's a good sign.
Un takes him to the counter and greets the employee warmly, they share a back and forth about university, then to Two's surprise, Un introduces Two. The man taking their orders is named Bone; he looks vaguely familiar but he isn't sure why. He appears not to know Two so he doesn't mention that they might have met before. Bone is friendly and their brief conversation flows nicely. Two thinks maybe returning here every now and then to get to know Bone might be a fun idea.
Un orders a plain medium coffee, Two decides on a large mocha, extra strong. Un tells Two to sit so he obeys and watched as Un follows Bone from the customer's side of the counter and whispers something, Bone glances at Two and says something back. Un nods and smiles that kind of smile that makes something deep inside Two tingle. He wonders what they are talking about that made him grin like that, and now seem shy. Bone gives Un a smirk and pats him on the back and the only thing of the conversation loud enough to hear was Un saying "Thank you" before he walks back to Two with that same blinding smile.
"Come take a look at this." He says and grabs him by the hand. Before Two can process anything he is yanked from his chair and toward the back of the café.
"What about the coffee?!" Two laments.
"He'll bring them to us."
Un opens a door and pulls him into the room, it's a small theatre with comfy looking loveseats. Two instinctively lets out an exclamation of amazement.
"This coffee shop has movie screenings here. You want to watch a movie? Just us?" Un offers. He is looking at Two with hopeful eyes and Two can't turn him down even though the idea makes him feel nervous for reasons he doesn't understand.
They agree on The Perks of Being a Wallflower and sit down with their freshly made beverages in one of the many seats together. Two can't stop thinking about how it feels like a date as the lights are turned off and the movie begins to play. There is plenty of space between them but as the movie goes on somehow that space decreases as Un shifts and leans over to make quick enthusiastic comments about the scenes or actors. Soon they are right next to each other and Two chances looking over to Un almost as much as watching the movie. The film is a little over halfway finished when Two steals another look to find Un is already looking back. Two quickly turns his eyes to the movie, panic setting in at the fact he had been caught.
For the rest of the movie Two is silent as he tries to only focus on the great cinema before him as Un's shoulder is touching his.
When the movie ends Two sighs and says,
"I hate endings like that. There is no closure, they just end things there and that's it? They should have gotten together, so they stay in contact after they part."
"I agree, call me a hopeless romantic but I think it they really loved each other distance shouldn't be able to keep them apart." Un states confidently.
The way Un is looking into Two's eyes makes him understand the sincerity of his statement, and it gives Two goosebumps no matter how cheesy it sounded. He tries to think of something to say back; something witty and charismatic, but any words that come to mind kind of worry Two. Suddenly, the lights are switched back on, and with them goes the moment. They are up and out of the small theatre and back to the public section before Two had even noticed Un's hand had been on his knee for those last few seconds.
They had returned to their cars when they stop to give one another a farewell. It feels awkward and takes a little long but as Two is climbing back into his car he gathers the courage to say
"We should do this more often."
Un is waving goodbye to him excitedly as he drives off; Two hopes there will be a lot more days like this.

I Would Rather Date You Chapter 4
All current chapters can be found here on AO3.
The heavy rain beats rhythmically on the windows, Two and Un are quietly sitting on the couch, the background noise of the TV being drowned out by the deafening sound of socially awkward silence. Two and Lynn were supposed to be going on a dinner date, but after Two had already come to pick her up Lynn had called profusely apologizing and explaining she would be late because she had a project with another student. Any minute, she had said. Two huffs angrily as he throws himself to the backrest of the couch and looks up at the ceiling. It's already getting dark. He looks over to Un who is sitting with his arms crossed, focusing intently on the TV.
"I don't think she'll be back in time." He states. Un returns his eye contact with sympathy. A flash of lightning and the boom of thunder startle them from their brief interaction. Un jumps up from the couch and looks out the window at the torrent of rain with a worried expression. Two watches him intently as he moves to the glass doors, now having turned his body so that he was resting his chin on the back of the couch. Was Un scared of thunder storms? He considers the idea of asking him, but decides it's probably a little too personal.
A phone ringing causes Un to jump once more, it's a fleeting few moments of who's-phone-is-that before Un pulls his device from his pants pocket.
"Hello"
Two watches as Un's brow furrows and he covers his other ear.
"Hey Lynn, I can barely hear you."
Un is now pacing the small distance of the couch and the floor in front of the sliding balcony doors. For a second he wonders why Lynn is calling Un, then contemplates why Un seems worried, then Two feels worried. He isn't quite sure why or for who. Lynn he guesses.
"Okay, sure. Thanks for the heads up. I really appreciate it."
Un hangs up the phone and appears uneasy. He looks over at Two, still lounging with his chin pressed into the cushion of the couch, watching him, but now with a confused eyes. Un sucks in air and sheepishly rubs the back of his head, still lightly pacing. He stops briefly, back to Two, before whirling around on his heels.
"Lynn won't be back tonight" he finally utters. Two nods his head in acknowledgment, "the storm is supposed to get worse and with her car still acting up she didn't want to get stuck."
Two pulls himself up off the couch and starts to head to the door with a thank you and goodbye when he stops in his tracks.
"Could you please stay here tonight?"
Two spins around, and stares at him, flabbergasted. Un is looking back with a flush of embarrassment and finishes with "parts of the city have already lost power and it's getting dark."
Two's shoulders drop from a clenching he didn't even realize he had been doing. "It's fine, I don't want to impose." He answers, already turning to leave when he heard Un's voice take on a tone he hadn't heard before.
"Please."
Two stops again, eyes widening as he looks back at Un. His voice filled with trepidation and troubled expression stirring something inside Two. Un is swallowing thickly.. Eyes darting everywhere but on Two.
"I'm nyctophobic. Scared of the dark."
Two moves forward and places a hand on Un's shoulder and nods. Giving him a reassuring smile.
"Sure." He answers.
Un looks visibly relieved, then places his hand over Two's.
He isn't sure why but it's almost like a jolt when it makes contact with Two's hand. Un mutters a thank you that Two honestly can't hear because he is looking into Un's eyes and it's a fraction of a second he gets lost in those earnest and gentle orbs, then the hand is gone from his and Two's removing his from Un's shoulder and he's off to bring out candles and lighters; just in case.
They decide to sleep in the living room. They light a couple candles and Un offers the couch to Two while Un sleeps on the floor next to it. It's midnight before Two decides he can't sleep. He tosses and turns and lands facing Un. He looks down at Un on the floor, sleeping surprisingly sound. Luckily the power hadn't gone out yet, so a small nightlight in the kitchen and the two candles had bathed the room in sufficient lighting to see.
Two thinks about how someone develops a fear of the dark. Is it from past experiences, or perhaps, just something left over from childhood; the fear that most children have that somehow amplified? Then, he wonders, how would he have reacted if there had been a blackout? That line of questioning brought him back to the sounds of Un's pleading voice, and somehow the curiosity that he had before was replaced with concern. He didn't want to see someone be so scared. Not truly.
Two had been so lost in thought that when he shook himself from contemplation he was surprised to find Un's open eyes looking back at him.
"Uhh, hi." Two whispered lamely.
Un is still looking at him, and Two thinks for a second he hadn't heard him, then Un smiles his big disarming smile, "hi" he mirrors. Two isn't sure what to do, but he knows it's so infectious that he smiles back without thinking.
"It's stopped raining." Two blurts out. "I don't think the power will be going out tonight." Un nods, smile turning to a small one.
Un has chosen to look at the ceiling instead of Two as he confesses, voice low. "Thank you again, for staying. I hate being alone when it's dark. It's one of the reasons I was okay with Lynn moving in so quickly."
"Ah, I see." Two days taking on a joking tone to lighten the mood, "and here I thought it was just out of the kindness of your heart." Two poked Un on the chest grinning cheekily.
Un chuckles and smirks, "Yes, I am horrible, just an absolute monster." They both laugh in the warm glow of the night.
"We should go to sleep." One says.
"Yeah" the other agrees.
Yet, neither feels tired anymore, so they talk and joke and laugh till the telltale signs of morning rise around them.

It's Two days later when Two is sorting his pictures of the passed few days before bed.
*Ding*
Two grabs his phone and opens the received text message.
Lynn: my car just broke down
Lynn: I'm home but I'll need a ride to my classes in the morning
Two: I can drive you, it's no problem.
Lynn: Thank you so much! I'm so sorry to impose.
Two laughs and shakes his head, he always has time for Lynn. She is as much a best friend as a girlfriend, always there for each other.
Two: I told you it's no problem. I'll always be there when you need me
Two: because you're always there for me
Two turns back to his photos. He pauses on one of the photos of Lynn's happy face, taking a bite of a bright red strawberry. By all means it should be a perfect picture, and Lynn had said as much- he just couldn't figure out why but something felt like it was missing.
The next morning Two finds himself sitting on Lynn's couch, once again impatiently waiting for Lynn to get ready, he sinks down into the couch. Staring at the ceiling Two wishes he hadn't decided to come so early.
Minutes go by before he hears the sound of Un sleepily shuffling out of his bedroom. Not noticing Two Un walks into the kitchen and begins gathering ingredients to make breakfast.
Two watches Un, peeking from the couch, Un still wearing his sleeping attire- a plain blue T-shirt and boxers. Two smiles when Un begins to hum as he is whisking eggs.
Without thinking Two pulls out his camera and takes pictures of him, beating eggs, flipping bacon with the pan like a show off, and one of him leaning back to the counter, hands gripping the counter either side of him as he stares out the sliding glass door of the balcony and into the sky with a relaxed but distant expression.
Two likes that one the best.
Lynn bursts from her bedroom fully dressed and ready for a day of learning, "Good morning!" She says to Un as she walks passed him. "Oh hey! Would you like some breakfast? I made just enough for both of us." Un says back. Lynn stops just behind the couch and shakes her head, declining the offer, "No thanks, I'm running a little late and Two is taking me today." At the mention of his name Two decides to sit up, meeting eye contact with them both, beaming.
Un jumps back in surprise, "how long have you been there!" He exclaims, shocked. Two shrugs his shoulders, "the whole time." He answers. "I didn't want to bother you, you were in the zone. Nice flipping skills, by the way."
Un stands silent with a strange expression in his face, unsure how to respond. Lynn moves to the door and urges Two to get up before they are even later. Lynn is gripping Two's wrist as she leads him out, Two waves goodbye with a goofy grin before the front door is shut and Un is left alone with his breakfast.
"Thanks again for the ride!" Lynn shouts exiting Two's car, waving as she rushes up the steps to the front door of her university. Two leans back in his seat, savoring a moment of tranquility. He breathes in and out deeply, letting the calmness of the morning sweep him up into silent contemplation.
Taking out his camera Two reviews the sneaky shots taken whilst Un was unaware. He stops of the final picture of Un's patient reverie. Closely examining every aspect of Un Two smiles, yeah, he really likes this one.

"This one is really great!"
"Here, let's do another one. Hold up your glass this time." Lynn grinned brightly, posing with a beverage. Two moved around trying to get the best angle. The morning sunlight shone on their outdoor table, giving Lynn a pleasant glow.
*Click*
He held the camera out for Lynn to see. Once again she smiled, "I like that one, too! Great work!" She claimed enthusiastically. Two nodded and expressed thanks, looking over the photos once again. He wouldn't tell Lynn but these just didn't look as nice as he wanted. Contemplating what he might be missing to add the right touches to the pictures he lost himself in thought, absentmindedly fiddling with his camera. Lynn takes a last selfie using her phone before noticing Two seems to have finished his breakfast as well.
She gathers her purse and returns her phone into its designated pouch then studies Two's far away expression.
"Hey, are you ready to go?" She asks, patiently. Two is shaken from his thinking. "Oh, sorry. I was just wondering…" Two sighs as he searches for the correct phrasing; looking up at Lynn's eager and waiting face he decides to just spit it out.
"Who was that guy in your apartment? Is he your roommate? Why didn't you tell me he was a he? I mean, I trust you but it still worries me a little." Lynn let's out a small breathy laugh, "You mean Un? Yeah, he is." She answers nodding. She takes another drink of her water and looks puzzled, like she is questioning her next words, "I didn't tell you because I honestly didn't have time to clear things with you before I had to move in. His apartment was the cheapest at such notice and he was willing to help me move my things."
Two follows along nodding and fidgeting with his camera quietly, "besides, I don't think you need to worry about him. Let's say Un has showed less than zero interest in me. I think he has a girlfriend." Two lets out a breath of relief and smiles.
"So you talked to him, right? He is really nice and always keeps quiet when I tell him I need to study." As if a switch was flipped Lynn's conversational demeanor changes frantic as she grabs at her bag.
"I need to study!" She exclaims, motioning for Two to get up. They return back to Two's car and begin the drive back.
Lynn is sprinting up the stairs with Two lagging behind, bags in each hand. They enter the apartment and Lynn gives Un a customary wave as she drops her bag on the counter and heads back to the balcony to her schooling materials.
Two shuts the door behind him, quietly removes his shoes and awkwardly stands, not quite sure what to do with himself. He makes eye contact with Un and lets out a sheepish hello and small wave. Taking one of the bags in his hands he reaches it out to Un.
"Lynn said you like these so I thought I'd get them for you, you know, as a thank you for letting my girlfriend live here…" Un looks slightly taken aback and doesn't reach for the offered goods. Two lightly shakes the bag and laughs "Go on, take it. She told me how accommodating you have been to her situation. You deserve it." Un takes the bag and smiles shyly at him and offers a quiet but sincere, "Thank you."
"So…" Two drags out. Watching Un open the container of sweets. Un looks with delight and goes to give Two another thank you for the consideration when they make eye contact once again and suddenly Two feels nervous. Butterflies fill his stomach, he smiles back and slowly walks backward. Fumbling for the door handle Two puts his shoes back on all while muttering goodbyes with a giddy smile.
Once Two shuts the door behind him he immediately heads downstairs, after he reaches the final step he stops, crouching down with his hands on his knees and tries to catch his breath. He inhales deeply then exhales with relief. He enters his car, grateful to be out of there. Two realises he hadn't even said goodbye to Lynn and groans with frustration. He pulls out his phone and sends her a text with a quick goodbye and half assed explanation of why he hadn't stayed long and an offer of lunch at a later date as repayment for his hasty retreat before starting his car and getting the hell out of there.

After placing the newly obtained key in the lock he twisted until he felt the click indicating he now had access to the apartment. Two smiled as he entered, searching for the residents of the quiet home. His smile widened as he laid eyes on the woman silently reading a book on the compact balcony in the early morning fog. He gingerly approached her, sliding the door open as slowly as possible so as not to cause a disturbance. "Hey," he whispered to gain her attention. Lynn looked up from her literature, grinning as she noticed who had broken her from her studying.
"Hey!" She exclaimed back, quickly getting up from her seated position to wrap her arms around his neck, clunky book still in one hand. He returned the embrace in kind chuckling at her excitement, "What are you doing here so early in the morning?" She inquired as she placed a bookmark between the pages of her textbook, setting down the bulky thing in her chair. "I figured I would surprise you with a breakfast date at a place of your choosing. As a thank you for making me my own key for your new apartment!" He held the key up happily in front of him twisting his wrist, showing off the shiny object as if it were a prize as it caught the light. She laughed and led him back inside, "Great, but I have to take a shower first. Sit here and wait, I won't be long." She pointed to the small couch in the open living room, "Make yourself at home, and feel free to talk to my roommate, they should be waking up anytime now."
Two nodded before doing as he was told, slightly twisted around to watch her walk passed the attached kitchen and down the hall, disappearing into her room briefly before exiting with clothing in hand to enter the bathroom at the end. He turned back around and sat tapping a pointer finger on his leg, waiting. He was considering turning on the TV when he heard a shuffling of feet and the opening of a door to the left of the hallway. Two swiveled around to greet his girlfriend's new roommate, but was hit with a wave of surprise when he saw a disheveled, sleep ridden man in the kitchen. The stranger was pouring himself a bowl of cereal as Two approached, "Wait, so you are Lynn's roommate?!" He questioned incredulously.
The man with the messy bed head sat the cardboard box down sleepily looking behind him to find who was speaking to him so soon after waking up.
Leaning back against the counter he squinted and rubbed his eyes trying to remove the sleep from them and took his time raising an eyebrow in the definition of sloth. He nodded and answered in a groggy, rough voice, "Yup," then returned to the cereal box closing it and putting it back in the cabinet.
Two furrowed his brows and looked at the sleepy man in anger and confusion. "She never told me her roommate was a guy!" He finally announced after a long silence. Said man was now looking at him grumpily as he placed milk back in the fridge, reaching for an almost empty carton of orange juice he sighed and shut the door, "I know what you're thinking, but trust me-" he paused to look him in the eyes before finishing with, "I would sooner date you than steal your girlfriend." He gave him a stern look that said "understand?" before casually taking the carton of juice and his breakfast with him. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" He asked himself more than the roommate, then shouted, "Hey! Wait!" In an offended tone as the rude individual, sauntering back to his room, shut the door firmly on him before he could get the sentence he was attempting to form out.
Grunting in frustration he sat back down on the couch to resume his wait. Trying to understand if his girlfriend's own roommate was insulting her- or whatever he had possibly meant.
