I've been on a writing roll this past month so here we go... let's see what do i do

Kit runs away from it all. - In The Fields of Alfriston (MingKit - 2moons2)

2. They grow up together as neighbors. School-mates. Best friends. - - have you ever wondered.... (PatPran - Bad Buddy)

3. The first time Passin speaks to Ming, he bumbles and fumbles his way into congratulating Ming that Dissaya is his girlfriend. - a life we could have had (a HYEW prequel [PatPran] - Bad Buddy)

4. Sand breathes out as calloused fingertips brush against the back of her hand and she turns her palm, welcoming the heat that covers her fingers. - Whispers of A Prayer (Tharn reuniting with everyone - The Sign)

5. They normally shower together to you know... "save water" but Yaa has needed Phaya in the attic, getting him to move some boxes so that she could unearth some old files that the board was asking for. - Sleep, Love (Phaya/Tharn - The Sign)

Okayyyyyy... so it looks like I really like action openings... which makes sense for someone like me. i'm constantly on the move and when I'm not, I'm narrating what goes on inside my head. i like to be dumped mid-way into something happening apparently :D

It’s the ✨hot springs✨ episode and the crazy doctor gang takes their boyfriends away for (what’s supposed to be a relaxing) vacation. (Can be naked or clothed hot spring rules)

"When you said you were taking us to Japan," Forth said as he reclined against the walls of the tub filled with natural hot spring water, "I was very excited. More so when you said we'd be going to a hot spring resort."

"I remember you said as much," Yo replied as he continued carefully spreading a face mask on his face from his seat near by.

"I was excited to go more for spending time with my boyfriend," Forth continued. "Would you care to explain to me why we're being forced to sit in separate sides of the bath house?"

"I want an explanation too!" Ming cried out, finally bored of paddling in laps around the deeper part of the hot spring pool. "I wanted to see P'Kit in the water! His face is probably so cutely pink right now!"

"Ai Moong Ming!" Kit yelled from the other side. "The entire resort can hear you! Shut up!"

"P'Kiiiiitttt!" Ming cried and swam up to the fence and scratched at it like a puppy separated from its owner by the bathroom door. Despite his poor mood, Forth chuckled at the absurd scene of a naked Ming pawing at the fence like an old lecherous man from one of Yo's manga. "I miss you!"

"You'll see me when we're done and going for dinner, idiot," Kit hissed. "Now go sit quietly!"

"Sorry P'Kit!" Yo called over before dragging Ming away and forcing him to sit by his station of face masks. "Your face is so dry, Ai Ming. Haven't you been using your moisturizer lately?"

"Of course I have!" Although he scoffed, Ming allowed his best friend to smear a face mask on him. "But now that you've put this on me, I can't swim around!"

"It's a hot spring," Forth said lazily as he draped a warm towel over his face. "You're not supposed to swim laps, nong."

"Do you want a mask too, P'Forth?"

"No need," Forth said with a dismissive wave. "I'll just put more moisturizer later and I don't want to worry about if I drip any into the bath."

"Ai Forth, put the damn mask on," Beam yelled from the other side. "Your face has been like sandpaper this past week!"

"I told you it's just the stubble because I haven't shaved much!" Forth called back.

Yo giggled and tapped Ming on the cheek to indicate he'd finished. "Come on, phi. If Beam is saying something, it must be bad."

Forth grumbled but made his way over. "You better appreciate this, Ai Beam!"

"No funny business!" Pha called out.

"Am I an idiot?" Forth yelled back. "Just because Yo is naked, you think I'd do something to him?"

"You shouldn't be seeing him naked in the first place!"

"You're really lucky uncle let you reserve the whole resort," Ming said from Yo's other side. "I think we'd be kicked out by now otherwise."

"About that." Yo set down the mask he applied for Forth and stepped back a bit. "I wanted to... well Pha and I wanted to tell you guys that we're very grateful for all the ways you've been good friends and supported us this year." Yo smiled brightly, still charming despite the green color of the mask on his face. "And so we hope you'll accept our little trip as our Christmas gift to all of you."

"N'Yo," Forth said as he ruffled Yo's hair carefully. "Don't be so silly. We're happy to help you and support you no matter what. Especially if Ai Pha pisses you off."

"I heard that!"

"Give your own thank you speech first!"

Yo pinched the bridge of his nose delicately as Ming gave him a careful hug from the side. "I appreciate you, Ai Yo." Ming tapped the side of his head against Yo's. "But I swear, if you separate us like this again for any other part of this trip, I'll be mad."

"This was a request from Pha, actually," Yo said while blinking. "He said if he wasn't going to be allowed to be lewd in the baths, then no one could, so we had to separate boyfriends."

"Fuck! Pha, you ruined it for everyone!" Forth yelled while scrubbing the mask off his face with a damp towel. "Why didn't you just book a place where there were multiple private baths!"

"I'm not made of money! You book it next time!"

"Your little boyfriend is one of the richest people in the country and he did the bookings! Just ask!"

First as Phana

Don’t tell me this edit of him in a Dr coat by @acharraa on twitter doesn’t look amazing. Plus he’s tall and is excellent at playing a simp.

Khaotung as Wayo

nasty bitchy Gaga? More like our beloved bitchy but sweet engineer who is ready to drink nom yen and sing his heart out at the moon competition

Neo as Ming

Admit it we all want more Khao and Neo bff roles since TonhonChonlatee and I know Neo would absolutely kill it as this confident but heartfelt campus moon. (and if you're thinking, hey that guy looks familiar? yes it's Joong)

Mark as Kit

I’ve seen Mark in MSP, I know he can make faces and give side-eyes worthy of the role of Kit. I happily entrust my favourite 2moons character to him.

Force as Forth

Force as an engineering bad boy who makes his intentions clear once he sets his heart on someone? Yes please. (Also he gets to take his shirt off, I know that’s important to him)

Book as Beam

Like Mew, Beam is probably the calmest member of the friend group, I think Book would fit the role perfectly! Let's see how long he can resist a ONS that wants to be so much more.

It all fits too well! A note on MingKit: as one of my favourite ships of all time, I think very highly of NeoMark to say they could pull off that pairing, but I have faith in their amazing acting and I look forward to seeing them more in Only Friends!

So we have First, Mark and Book as the Wild Doctors Gang. Neo and Khao as besties Ming and Yo. and Force as Fourth!

Bonus: Title as Park

From Be My Favourite and Hidden Agenda I can tell that Title is an excellent actor who is great at making characters very creepy and hateable, which is exactly what Park is!

Lookjun as Pring

Campus Star, and in my version of 2moons she’d be a lesbian and dating Cake.

Similar to the mame question- I, seeking some clarification about 2moons. How to watch, why is there cast change? I keep seeing about “passing” a couple that is now in triage???

I’m confused.

What Happened With The 2 Moons Franchise? 

How to watch? Last I checked both 2 Moons & 2 Moons 2 were available on YouTube. 

First thing to know, 2 Moons is probubly one of the most popular y-novels ever written. It's responsible for the freshman popularity contest trope, the pink milk trope, and the clear umbrella trope in Thai BL. It features 3 couples and 2 friendship groups. Older boys, 3 of whom (Pha, Kit, Beam) are best friends and medical students (the wild doctors), and one who is an engineering outsider (Forth). And the 2 younger boy besties (Ming & Yo) who enter university and the moon popularity contest and cause a sensation. 

Second thing is, as of its 2017 release 2 Moons original was the first genuine sweet high production Thai BL, it had none of the bully harshness of SOTUS and none of the messy high school soapyness of Love Sick or Make it Right. 

The character couples are: 

PhaYo - the leads, pining since high school, mutual crush, stern older and innocent blushing maiden pure boi, first played by GodBas then by BenEarth

MingKit - the best friends of the above, the player flirt younger man (Yo's bestie) and the sharp harsh older boy (Pha's bestie) first played by KimCop then by JoonNine AKA J9

ForthBeam - these two are friends-to-lovers, one-night-stand, pick-up couple (initially Forth wants Yo) and the highest heat of the couples, first played by TaeTee then by PavelDome 

The differences between the 2 installments?

2 Moons 2017 - focuses almost entirely on PhaYo with only a little bit of flirtation between MingKit and no ForthBeam really at all. PahYo get together but it ends on a cliffhanger. 

2 Moons 2 2019 covers EXACTLY the same ground as 2 Moons only faster (lie cliffs notes) but then adds to the story and significantly expands on the side dishes. Both MingKit and ForthBeam get completed story arcs. PhaYo get together but end on a cliffhanger... again. Since I couldn’t really care less about PhaYo, but I love ForthBeam, this is my favorite. 

Unless you really like the PhaYo dynamic and prefer those actors (I do think they are a better PhaYo) you can skip the first installment and just watch 2 Moons 2. Although the fan subber for the original, PinkMilk, is very cute with the commentary. And you might want to watch to familiarize yourself with the side actors (more to come on them). 

Why the Cast change?

2 Moons - first installment, features Bas and God in the lead roles. The cast fell apart (mismanagement? studio conflict? inability to handle the fandom? all of the above?) It was early on in the Thai BL industry days so *shrug* God was already popular and well known, so he could walk away. 

I think this crisis is partly responsible for the Thai studio obsession with casting unknowns in BL roles going forward (the studio has more power). The flip side was the pair branding thing which is basically code for: the boys know what they are in for and are OK with it so long as they are together. 

2 Moons 2 - fell apart also, again we aren’t sure why, but there were accusations of bullying, mismanagement, actor abuse and a lot more - the director’s follow up BL Call It What You Want (which, like Lovely Writer takes the BL industry to task) is rumored to be a commentary/expose on 2m2. He also directed the documentary BL: Broken Fantasy. 

The Actors - 2 Moons

The original Pha, God, left the production for unknown reasons. (rumors suggest he did not like the IRL shipping drama) God was a very popular model before he got the role and continues to be a popular actor in Thailand. 

The original Yo, Bas, went on to become a staple of Star Hunter and has been in a number of BLs. He's been paired with various other actors (Dun in Gen Y, Perth in Tell, etc...)

The original MingKit went on to become BL power couple KimCop:

They actually seem pretty cool as a pair. They’re supportive of queer advocacy, co-brand in a classy way, but are pretty restrained about everything. They’ve gone on to anchor multiple BLs at this juncture and don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Copter identifies as gender non-conforming, they/them. 

The original ForthBeam weren’t really depicted as a couple at all in the series but then they did a microfilm together, Triage, which everyone got very excited about. Fortunately for us, that microfilm got made into a full length show (airing mid 2022). They don’t seem to be showing any signs of pair-branding though. 

The Actors - 2 Moons 2 

The PhaYo pairing - Earth & Ben definitely had a rift. Ben doesn’t seem to be around/interested in the industry anymore, Earth is appearing in My Secret Love. 

The MingKit pairing - J9 were clearly very close friends, but Nine is half Chinese and has gone to China to become a Cpop idol. Joon joined GMMTV and just starred in Star in My Mind. 

The ForthBeam pairing - Pavel is supposed to have a new BL this year and Dome was rumored to have one as well. I don’t think we will see them together as a pair again. Pavel is particularly industry savvy and intentional in his marketing, I don’t think co-branding is something he’ll actively pursue. Although he’s happy to play the game for promo.

It’s Christmas time and we find Kit and Beam bonding as they buy funderwear as presents for their boyfriends. Bonus if they decide to humor themselves and buy a pair of their own.

It wasn't uncommon for students to use the library for things other than studying. Plenty came for the quiet to just read a book. Some came to do homework. The Tabletop Game Club often used quiet rooms in the back for their games because the wifi was better than the club building. Students who were out of data plan especially came to mooch wifi, provided they didn't make it obvious they were playing video games instead of some other activity.

Kit and Beam found themselves in the library for a similar reason. To use the wifi for online shopping away from the ever present gaze of their boyfriends.

They tucked themselves away in a quiet corner where no one would pay them, or what was on their laptop screens, any mind.

"He has that pair, he has that pair, we just threw away that pair..." Kit scrolled through the website, expression bored.

"If you're not into it anymore, Ai Kitty, why don't you just tell N'Ming," Beam said as he clicked to add a mesh jockstrap to his cart. "Hmm... Maybe I'll get this one for me too. It looks pretty good actually."

"It's not that I'm not into it anymore," Kit said as he switched to a different website. "I'm into anything that makes Ming happy and feel good outside of a few very niche things. Ming just goes through so many pairs, it gets difficult to care about which one he's got or is wearing."

"Hmm... Yeah you really get rough with all those," Beam said as he finalized his order. "Why do you rip so many?"

"Excuse me? I am not the one ripping them all the time, despite what Moong Ming says. He's so fucking eager he rips his underwear off himself," Kit hissed.

"Well maybe it's time to start punishing him with something other than what he likes."

"Well... he has stopped liking the chastity cage... It's been getting kind of painful."

"I mean why not just punish him by taking away more underwear instead of replacing it?"

"So you want me to listen to him wail all day and night instead?"

Beam just sighed and pulled Kit's laptop closer and typed in a web address. "Well when you're done being dumb about it, try this website for a minute and then tell N'Ming if he rips another pair, you won't let him have any sort of sex or orgasm for a month. No cage needed. No plain underwear. You're just not going to indulge him. He can even sleep in the same bed but you're just going to freeze him out."

Kit rolled his eyes and looked through the website anyway. "Fine. He can have one new pair and that's the new stipulation."

"Now you're both learning a new trick. What a good Ai Kitty," Beam said while scratching under Kit's chin.

"Asshole," Kit grumbled. "You and Forth doing okay with all this?"

"Oh it's always fun to frame his package in different ways," Beam said casually. "He just likes the novelty once in a while. It's not the main dish like it is for Ming. We're moving on to more interesting positions if I'm honest."

"So Pha's gift of the Kama Sutra worked well for you, huh?"

"Tons. I have suggestions if you want."

Now that 2moons the ambassadors is really happening you’ve gotta wonder which 5 out of the 6 main cast are going to form a band afterwards. It’s happened twice with SBFIVE and OXQ, history is doomed to repeat itself.

2Moons2: a guilty pleasure

ngl lads, i put on 2Moons2 as background noise while i try to study. i forgot how very self-indulgent it is and now its beck in my radar as one of my guilty pleasures.

its not perfect, gods no. the story telling is subpar, i think 2 moons2 spent waaay too much time retelling the first 2moons, but i guess it served as a great stepping stone to get to know the new cast and their roles, so im not that mad about it. I still wished that they gave us more MingKit and ForthBeam though. like Pha and Wayo is already a couple, can we focus on how Ming is trying to score Kit and how Kit is shooting every advances down??? give me MingKit please??? also ForthBeam??? My dude Forth was so distressed because he doesn't do one-night stands so he is trying to make an honest man out of Beam who just wants to fuck off because of course he is an emotionally stunted gremlin. So much potential to push forward the other storylines but we only got the bare minimum. i want to scream. i love the 2moon's franchise's story but the execution barely hit.

and if only Motive Village did not fuck up on handling the actors under their label!!! they suck so much!!! like wtf bro??? seriously??? do you hate money??? screwing up your actors is bad bossiness my dude, jfc
