Reviewing the 500 best albums according to "Rolling Stone"
(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

444. Fiona Apple- “extraordinary machine”
First of all, i love Fiona so much, she’s the love of my life.
But i didn’t expect seeing this album, because i think she has better ones. And i don’t know if i’ll see those in the list, if so, just pick one (the best) and leave a position for other musicians.
But talking about the album, it’s really good
I like how dramatic it’s musically, the piano has these powerful moments, combined with relatable lyrics and a voice so strong that they make you have a unique moment
It’s an album full of feeling, even if you aren’t analyzing the lyrics, you can perceive the sadness, loneliness and anger.
Fav songs
O'Sailor
Parting gift
Not about love
I just love Fiona, she deserves the world

(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

445. Yes- “close to the edge”
This is an intense album, it’s quite short but has a lot of information to process.
I listened to the three song version. I emphasize it because on spotify there is the remastered version that is longer.
Something I like is that the songs are saturated with sounds and parts that sound different from each other. And saturation isn’t bad in this case, everything feels very cohesive.
This is an album that stands out in progressive rock. all the musicians who worked here have a very strong communication and vision and it shows.
fav song:
Close to the Edge: I. The Solid Time of Change / II. Total Mass Retain / III. I Get Up I Get Down / IV. Seasons of Man
An incredible, flawless and different album

446. Alice Coltrane- “Journey in Satchidananda”
As I have said in previous posts, I love discovering music made by women of color. They are often overlooked by the industry and I am glad to see them here.
It’s a very interesting, instrumental, short album, but full of elements that deserve to be analyzed.
It’s a very spiritual album and it is strongly influenced by the culture of North Africa and Middle Eastern, this combined with jazz.
I consider this album as an experience, it is unique and it is difficult to describe.
Fav songs
Journey In Satchidananda
Shiva-Loka
Isis and Osiris
if you are interested in the genre, you should listen to it.

Reviewing the 500 best albums according to "Rolling Stone"
(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

447. Bad Bunny, 'X 100pre
Before I start, I want to say that I do not hate Bad bunny, in fact I dislike the harsh criticism that he receives as a person.
This is just about music.
It was a bit unexpected to see him on the list, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. But I don't know if it's apt to put it in the same place as Otis Redding and Alice Coltrane (which is next).
I would have agreed more if the album had been in another position
Something that I liked was the combination and inclusion of different genres and how he makes them his own. It has a very genuine sound.
Lyrically it is very simple, sometimes with very weak rhymes. But I understand that it is a genre to enjoy, not to over analyze.
It is not my favorite production, I know that now his music sounds much better, but I understand it because it was his first album and I would be foolish if it demanded impeccable quality.
fav songs
Otra noche en Miami
Solo de mi
La Romana
Something we must recognize about bad bunny is his style and his uniqueness.
Whether you like it or not, you know him and you can recognize his music, and I think many musicians lack that.

(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

448. Otis Redding- “Dictionary of Soul”
First of all, i love the cover so much, it’s fun, colorful and super creative. If I saw it in a vinyl store, I would choose it without thinking, even if I haven't heard it.
If I had to describe this album with one word it would be "lovely".
It has everything that makes a good soul record, Otis has an amazing voice and his musicians did a great job, and you can hear they had fun making this record.
favs songs
I’m sick y'all
Try a little tenderness
she put the hurt on me
From the cover and title you know what to expect, an album with the basics of soul, made by an expert in the genre.
It is short, concise and good.

449. The White Stripes- “Elephant”
This album is iconic, we all know it, but despite this, I only knew 5 songs so I would say it's my first time listening to it.
I like that it has a very distinctive sound. I like this garage sound with hints of blues.
Also, this album (and the band in general) has a lot personality, you won’t forgot them.
At first the album didn’t catch my attention, but the more I progressed the more I enjoyed it. I don't know if it's normal but I think the second half is better.
Fav songs
There’s no home for you here
Ball and biscuit
The hardest button to button
And yes, it's a good album, but I don't think it's better than many of the ones I've already talked about.

(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

550. Paul and Linda McCartney- “ Ram”
This is the first of several albums on the list that is related to The Beatles, nothing against them, but i want more diversity.
Despite this, I think this is a very good album, possibly enters my list of my favorites so far.
I really like that it is a very "human" album, it’s what you expect to listen from a man with his wife, with a comfortable life and having fun making music.
It's an album that has aged well, I personally like that it doesn't sound a lot like the beatles. You can tell that Paul and Linda cleared their mind of that area and started doing something better with their life and music.
The voices and the choirs are so joyful, makes you want to have been in the recording sessions with them. Instrumentally I have no complaints, they are concise and well executed.
Fav songs
3 legs
Uncle Albert/ Admiral Halsey
Monkberry Moon Delight
Ram on
I recommend it. It's quite interesting and chill, even if you don't like the beatles, it would be nice if you considered the idea of listening to this album

(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

551. Roberta Flack- “First take”
This album is good since the start.
No bad songs, 0 skips, pure joy, pure talent. This is the best way to describe this album.
A small detail that I want to highlight was the inclusion of Spanish, even in a song. I liked that representation and combination of cultures. I also like it because I can put that song to my parents and they will understand.
And it must be said that the message of that song is incredible, it’s s a simple but effective way to give a powerful message.
What she does on the album (singing and playing the piano) is just perfect, I have no doubt that she is a professional and a legend in this.
Obviously all the musicians who worked on this album deserve their recognition because they also delivered such clean material that it deserves much more recognition.
fav songs
Angelitos Negros
First time ever i saw your face
Ballad of the sad young man
Another phenomenal album, it will be difficult to find more albums that I like as much as this one. And I would recommend it to anyone, you should listen to it.

(IM NOT A MUSIC CRITIC, ITS JUST MY OPINION)

452. Diana Ross and the supremes- “anthology”
This is another compilation album, 50 songs (about two hours long).
And yes, it has the best songs of the group, but I did not expect to listen another album this long.
And don't get me wrong, I love Diana Ross, I love this group, but listening to a record this long does make it a bit monotonous as time goes on. In fact, I had to stop to rest and listen to everything again to enjoy it.
But overall, it's a good record. I love the femininity and elegance that radiates.
musically it’s made so that the voices stand out more, obviously, having Diana Ross I think it is impossible to pay attention to anything other than her.
fav songs
Your heart belongs to me
Run, Run, Run
Things are changing
He
it's obviously good, it has the best of the best. If you are a fan of Diana, you should take your time and listen to it, despite the time, it is music made to be enjoyed and not be over-analyzed. You will have a good time.

453. Nine Inch Nails- “Pretty Hate Machine”
Sorry but this album wasn’t that good for me, i had a hard time trying to enjoying it.
This was weird because when I was younger I used to enjoy their music, more specifically the album "The downward spiral".
Anyways, i tried to highlight the good things of the album.
Musically it was interesting. I want to highlight the bassist's work, since this was the instrument that stood out the most for me.
I like their aggressiveness as a band, this image usually impacts me a lot. And even though I didn't like the album, I know that I won't forget about it and that's good.
I feel like it's hard to forget a Synth rock album, but this one has a lot of personality, which makes it unique even in the genre.
Fav songs
Head like a hole
Terrible lie
That’s what i get
Remember, that I didn’t like it doesn’t mean that it is a bad album.

454. Can, 'Ege Bamyasi'
First of all, i love so much this cover. I listened to this record years ago just because I loved seeing that can.
Musically, I would describe this album as "risky and innovative." Of all the records I've listened to, this has been the most creative yet.
It's fun to listen musicians play their instrument amazingly, and then hear these “ridiculous” sound effects.
In general, it is a very well executed experimental album, at times they can be complicated, it has tracks or sections in songs that are difficult to digest.
fav songs
Sing Swan Song
Vitamin C
I’m so green
It is an incredible album that had a great impact. If you want to hear something different you should give it a try

455. Bo Diddley- “Bo Diddley/Go Bo Diddley”
These are two albums in one, at first i wasn’t interested, since I thought it would be too long. But no, they are quite short and cohesive with each other.
Both are good, until I heard them I understood the decision to put them together. On my perspective it’s difficult to choose which one is better, since they are very similar.
I consider it to be an essential Rock n roll album, since it has everything that characterizes it, a guitar that stands out too much, simple but effective drums and a super dynamic voice.
If you are interested, listen to the first and according to your reaction give the second one a chance.
fav songs
Bo Diddley
I’m a man
I’m sorry
if you have the time, listen to them both, they are just good.

456. Al green- “greatest hits”
This album is amazing, 0 skips, glamorous, chill, just incredible.
This is the type of album that I wanted to find on the list, something that excites me. Since the beginning I fell in love.
With the quality of this album, I feel that it deserves more recognition, I still haven't listened to the ones that come ahead in the list, but I'm sure that I will continue to prefer this one over many.
Everything is very well combined, the sensual voice, the enthusiastic choirs, those rhythms of the seventies, his image, everything is so well executed.
It was so hard to choose my favorite songs, because I loved them all
Fav songs:
Call me
Here I Am
Love and Happiness
This is one of the few albums that I would recommend to anyone, we should all listen to it at least once

457. Sinéad O’Connor- “I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got”
This is an amazing album.
Lyrically it's amazing, all the songs have deep meanings in a beautiful way. Love, religion, racism and inequality.
It’s an album that has a painful and sad vibe, her is voice so soft and sweet, but that echo effect that accompanies her gives a feeling of loneliness that surrounds you.
This is a type of album that needs analysis, you must listen to it with time.
It seems unfair to me that years ago, due to a controversy she had, she was so punished and they didn’t appreciate her music and performance.
Despite this, at least this album had incredible reviews and all well deserved.
Fav songs
I am Stretched on your grave
Nothing compares 2 U
Last day of our Acquaintance
I liked seeing this album on the list, very deserved the recognition.
i totally recommend this one.
