This is for @peggycarterbirthdaybash , not because it’s set on her birthday, but because it’s Steve’s ode to Peggy and therefore, very Peggy-positive.

Summary:  Steve’s thoughts waking up to Peggy next to him after his return in Avengers: Endgame. 

Excerpt: 

The sun came through the sheer curtains, splashing light across the room and across the bed. Steve’s eyes opened and it took a moment to realize where he was after the whirlwind of time travel to return the stones, and then to finally settle here in a time that felt more like home than the future he was now used to. He smiled, because despite all the pain and all the fighting in his life, the war was finally over and he could have happiness and peace.

He turned and face the source of his ultimate happiness, and propped his head up on his elbow. She was still asleep and he watched her for a moment. Even though she didn’t have a bit of makeup on and her curls weren’t perfectly set, she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Just saw this & I love it! I mostly do moodboards and/or fanfics (my moodboards almost always relate directly to the fanfic, but I’m not opposed to just making a moodboard). Serious question: how close to canon are we talking? Can Young Peggy be hanging out in current times or is she still Badass Old Lady Peggy? Can I just make a bunch of memes/text posts that are Peggy Positive? I adore her & I love the idea of boosting Peggy Carter Is The Best positivity!

You can stray as far from canon, or as close to canon as you'd like. I am not the Peggy Czar, and I love seeing people study Peggy at different ages and/or in time periods!!!!

1. In the last week I became an adult (I paid my taxes, applied for another degree, got a full time job, broke up with my boyfriend)

2. I don't know if it's just who I follow, but there's been a lot of Peggy slander on tiktok and Twitter. Writing things will counteract that.

3. Peggy's birthday is also the celebration of Easter this year, so if you are comfortable, boom there's a built in prompt.

Our favorite Marvel lady is turning 101 this year, and to celebrate, we’re having an all out bash! Write, draw, edit whatever you’d like to celebrate Peggy on her special day.

RULES

1. No incest/pedophilic/Non Consensual  fics.

It’s Peggy’s birthday, don’t saddle her with a prison sentence.

2. Fanfics must be 300 (three hundred) words minimum.

Is this event open to the public?

Yes! Absolutely.

What kind of fanwork can I submit?

Fanart, Fanfic, Edits, Moodboards, Playlists, anything you can think of as long as it is Peggy friendly.

Does it have to be a romantic piece?

No, but also don’t feel ship limited! Works can be gen or romantic, and I’m not going to stop you from celebrating Peggy if you ship her with someone I don’t.

What does the fanwork have to be about?

Ideally, create something that celebrates Peggy’s birthday (at any age!), but general Peggy positive works are totally cool too. I just ask that you don’t post Non-Con, Pedophillic, or Incestous works. Violence and death are a given for Peggy’s life, so I get if those come in to the mix.

When is this due again?

If you can get it done in time for Peggy’s birthday (April 9th) that’s awesome! If not, just try to have it in by the end of April.

Is smut okay?

MMMHM absolutely.

Can I be… kinky?

As long as it’s properly tagged, yep!

May was a lot, so things are a bit later than planned, but SSR Confidential is back for 2022! Here is the revised schedule:

2022 Schedule: • June 5-14: Signups & nominations (simultaneous) • June 15-ish: Assignments go out • July 15: Creator check-in (optional) • Aug. 3: Fanworks due • Aug. 10: Archive goes live • Aug. 17: Creator reveals Next year we’ll try to go back to the spring schedule, but this year, let’s see how the summer one works out! We are ready to roll for YEAR SEVEN! Signups open tomorrow!

There is also one significant change for 2022, which is that the minimum character/ship request is now one. (It used to be two.) This means that if you are an OTP person and only have one thing you want, you can sign up without fear!
