“Follow the path” - A quote from Ember Hart (played by Autumn Osborn) from tonights filming session. It was cold. It was dark. It was really cold and also very cold if I didn’t mention that already. But it was  fantastic evening and very interesting. Here is why:

 We began by setting up the lights to open up the characteristic set, an abandoned farm building in the middle of nowhere and started going through a scene that we only had one chance to get right. Setting fire to our most precious film prop (The machine)

The scene takes place because the character Jay (Played by Elliot Burns) sets up a circuit with the curiosity that drives him to action. He switches the power on to work out what this machine does but ends up with a deadly fire storm from its power batteries blowing up.

This scene was dangerous but we took safety steps- honestly -  well as much as you can with a shoe string budget.

Then a new character fades out of the shadows with a goal, and that is to communicate with the spirits of the Pendulum. As she takes the crystal into her hand, she begins to draw blood and drips it onto Jay’s face while he sleeps in some kind of ritual.

This dark scene opens up a new storyline that entwines into every other characters within the series.

A big welcome to Autumn Osborn. The footage looks amazing.

Filming Pendulist -  Sunday 15th 2017

Yesterday was an exciting day. As we come ever closer to releasing the mid season trailer along with half of season 1, we also get fresh ideas and new sense of direction.

Yesterday we began re-mapping the character Jay (Played by Elliot Burns) as we begin to feel a sense of lonliness with his storyline. We bagan by setting up his home which is actually a bunch of junk set up in an abandoned farm barn.

Yes - if you have not guessed it already, he is homeless and the question of why will be revealed later on.

Filling up the rest of the scenes from previous episodes with character bulding techniques, we have managed to complete every episode including re-edits on number 2 all the way up to number 5. 

These scenes and Jays storyline are going to mix phenomanally with Charlies storyline (Played by Connor Heath) and Aurrora’s (Played by Charlotte Culley)

We are on the way to great things and we are growing anxious for views and feedback.

Please stay tuned and we appreciate your patience, but this cinematic series is a one of a kind.

Pendulist is a web series created by Joe Goodall and Elliot Burns. It tells the story about a man who learns that he is destined to become the last true ghost hunter called a Pendulist.

Pendulist was inspired by Elliot’s facination in mysteries, puzzles and the paranormal. He bagan writing down his ideas for a web series which he pitched to his film making partner (Joe Goodall) where began an uprise in storylines.

The series will introduce a wide range of different characters, from evil spirits to ghostly appirations from haunted objects, witches, possesions and of course the ghost hunter himself.

The story begins with Lucia Brooks as she Vlogs her first steps in ghost hunting for youtube when she accidently collides with the destined ghost hunter himself, Jay.

The series holds a unique old fasioned feel to it in the modern day, showing abandoned buildings to junk workshops where it mixes modern technology with witchcraft tools.

The series is unique, a cinematic experience for those who enjoy binge watching on youtube and storytellers alike.
