over the years the holmes/watson dynamic has been diluted into a kind of ‘esoteric detective/exasperated sidekick’ take which sucks because canon acd holmes/watson is very much more like this

I do love this episode because Holmes does spend the entire time moping and being sad because Watson is so down bad, but the best part about Granada Holmes is that he doesn't lose Watson. And that, my friends, is one of the reasons why it's my favourite adaptation.

me, a granada holmes fan: well-fed on hand holding, "if you love me, Watson," quotes, funny moments, longing gazes, no john marriage, needing each other, living together, and having a healthy non toxic relationship

in superman adventures #19, there’s a villain named multi-face who can convincingly disguise himself as anyone, even tricking dna tests and x-ray vision. Superman initially can’t stop him

and the only reason he gets caught is because multiface decides to disguise himself as, of all people, CLARK KENT i’m screaming
