Last post I mentioned AlchemyRPG and the character premades and set up I had there. Due to the fact that's how my friends and I play it's been default for my games since we don't live near each other like we used to.

However, D&D at it's heart is pen and paper and when we started out we also used pen and paper and PDFs we could fill out.

So, I been spending time making a proper character sheet that is formatted for P&O. This is my first draft of it. Once I feel the game is stable enough to release the booklet I'm going to let this out with it as well since I'll update it if it needs changing.

I used my own character for the game as an example, which yes the ??? are parts I'm still figuring out. I also blacked out the QR code since I'm not ready for people to use the sheet yet.

Our first session got delayed due to scheduling issues (curse of all tables) so next Saturday night is to be the first official session.

First off I want to thank everyone who seems interested in my homebrew, I planned on this blog to essentially scream into the void and track my changes and lack of sanity. It's why I gave it its own instead of my main.

For those that are intending on playing or running the game, if you use Alchemy RPG for your table top I've been working on a universe there. It's nowhere near done.

But I did finish making premades of students. This way players can have their items and background features ready to go as well as all the skills for the game without customizing yourself.

I also got the items in, some assets, still need to put in more so it can be pulled from. I gave each new item features to it that can help the players by spending time using them or studying.

I am absolutely 100% in love with this. Will you be making the homebrew rules available to others after your own game? It looks amazing!

Thank you! Honestly it's full of spelling errors and terrible grammar but ya know it be like that.

I am planning on linking it here. It will be after a couple sessions since I want to see if it actually runs decently and if I need to change the overblotting mechanic or if I made the players to OP.

Or I made Riddle too OP.. honestly Riddle's spell may tpk them but we will see.

Will these homebrew files be available to the public 👀

I honestly didn't think many people would be interested in my chaotic mismatch homebrew. I'm kinda blown away by the response!

I am planning on having a link here to anyone who wants to use the homebrew.

Also trying to figure out how to link the Alchemy RPG universe I made for TWST so people will have the assets (music, backgrounds, terribly made battle maps, ect.) to run their own game without too much work.

Finally finished the Booklet for Pens and Overblots so my players can use it. It doesn't have art but the table of contents has links that will warp you to the correct page.

Granted it does need some fine tune polish like art and subheadings and page numbers but that's later down the line. Right now this is more than done for starting since I figure I'll be updating it as we go and see what works or doesn't work as a mechanic. Which would mean I would need to reformat depending how much changes, all of this is manual. Already I've edited some of the Specialized Subjects (subclasess) while setting up my players' characters. Invention and Technomancy got changed to be more viable and fun.

In the Pens & Overblots 5e Homebrew your backgrounds are replaced with the dorms.

Above is Heartslabyul Dorm. Obviously like with usual 5e the Personality Trait, Ideal, Bond, and Flaw tables are just ideas to help build your student. You can choose any of these, any other dorm's, or make your own.

For the group I'm the Head Mage (DM) for no one picked Heartslabyul. Only Ace and Deuce will be our Heartslabyul 1st years.

However all the Heartslabyul boys will have this as their background on their own character sheets.

It has been a lot of work and now I'm having my wife and friends alpha test it with our campaign I'll be dming. In honor of all that I made a new Tumblr to post all my Pens & Overblots stuff such as art and silly shenanigans that will happen.

It's been over two years but I finally finished (and by finished I mean functional to play as I'm still manually putting in the remaining items, and making the booklet semi decent to look at) my Twisted Wonderland 5e Campaign Homebrew!
