The worse Wind gets, the more they start to realize that there has been something far worse going on with their Sailor. But he's not the only one keeping secrets, and as tensions rise and ideas clash, Sky does his best just to keep the chain together.

May LU Write-a-Thon Round Up: 222,135 Words in One Day!

Round up Time (heh)! At this May event, held from 12 am to 12 am, we had 68 writers join us to write as many productive words as humanly possible while the moon fell. This is an amazing accomplishment, thank you all so much for coming — this month was a blast!

Directly below are the general statistics for this month (so much credit to the lovely @zarvasace) followed by the Winner’s Circle, Clubs, Superlatives, and Bingo sorted in alphabetical order. This month, the statistics and clubs were self-reported through submission sheets — superlatives, as every month, were assigned by other members of the event. Bingo was played on the server itself. Thanks again to zarvasace for putting together all of our lovely spreadsheets, to the mods for helping us run this event, and to all of you for coming!

Alright here we go I’m gonna make a lot of people mad

1) Four- no surprises here. I relate far too much to this character for multiple reasons. But other than that he’s just super fun to write. The colors have such a cool dynamic. Also he’s intellectual, usually quiet, but can be a gremlin sometimes?? Yep, he’s my favorite.

2) Wind- Windwaker was my fave for a long time, it’s still my top nostalgia game. But I really like Wind because yeah he’s young, but he’s been through just as much if not more than some of the other heroes. He’s still a kid and trying to work through big feelings he doesn’t know what to do with but he’s expected to have it all figured out and I love the dissonance between those two ideas.

3) Sky- he wouldn’t have placed this high had I not just finished Skyward Sword. He has so much whimsy despite having such a dark story. More than that I love caretaker characters with issues and self doubt (might just be my characterization here but it is a factor)

4) Legend- I can fix him /platonic

5) Hyrule- Again, caretaker with issues.

6) Wild- Like I know he’s super interesting and I love his character but there’s just so much focus on him it seems over saturated

7) Twilight- kind of the same issue as Wild. There’s just so much Twilight, and at least to me he doesn’t have any like super interesting character traits other than doggy and big brother syndrome so…

8) Time- I know a lot of people like him. I like his role in the chain, and I like the age shenanigans. But other than that he’s a little boring. I told you I was gonna make people mad.

9) IM SORRY OKAY listen. Listen. N-no, put the pitchforks down.

I like Wars, I really do. But I don’t like how inconsistent his interpretations are and how I CANNOT WRITE HIM FOR THE LIFE OF ME. SAVE ME FROM THIS TORTURE (having him be a major player in my longfic Dangerous Waters)

Again I do love them all I just like some more than others
