There's one thing I absolutely hate about Mankind Divided ending. Like, Marchenko is a third-rate villain, yeah.
But we're from the same city. He probably liked my favorite pub. And knows the best shawarma place. He probably knows that spot at the end of the 10th city bus route - the one on a hill that gets you the perfect view on the Khortytsia island and the Dnipro river around it. (Watching sunset there is to die for.)
And they don't give me the option to convince him. Like, kill him or imprison him.
And well, I can't.
And don't even get me started with a parallel between Adam being from Detroit and Marchenko being from Zaporizhzia. Industrial city, automotive stuff, overall weary vibe - it does feel deliberate.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Tumblr Fandom Stats
Following the release of Bioware's official player choice stats, I'm curious to see how the Tumblr fandom measures up. This Google Form contains all the questions from the official stat graphics, as well as a few that were not included that I'm personally curious about.
This form contains major endgame spoilers. Do not click the link until you've finished the game.
Please only fill it out once per Rook, but if you have multiple Rooks feel free to fill it out for each of them! Live stats will be available for you to view once you've submitted the form. This form does not collect your email address. I will release a breakdown of the final results on my blog at a later date!
Thank you in advance for your participation, please reblog for reach!

I need a big grass field to scream in it.
They are the beginning of one another and the end of one another.
A self replicating and self destructing sequence.
They are the Arcane.

Fun fact: I'm a basket case of alexithymia. Which means that I'm like really, really bad with emotions. I don't understand them, I'm not sure if I even feel them, but I'm just jaded enough not to give a fuck about it.
So yeah, woke up, watched the third act and oh well - pardon my wording here, because again - emotions are not my forte - like at all.
I want to puke my guts out, hit whoever wrote this square in the face, then kiss them and then smash my head on the pavement.
I've lived through shellings that were more enjoyable than this.
I hurt and I don't know why. (Thank you, I needed that.) And I hate the way I feel rn.
But today you reminded me that I can still feel. Thank you, I hate it. (But in a good way.)

OZH.
Oscar-Zulu-Hotel.
Three letters, too simple.
IATA code for Zaporizhzhia airport.
To be precise, it's called "Mokraya international", which I considered to be particularly fun, because "Mokraya" basically means "wet" if I was to translate it.
The fact that it was located on Blakytna st. didn't help either, as "Blakytna" means "Blue".
So yeah, wet airport is located on a blue street. Simple as that. What a wonderful combination of adjectives.
Never been to its new terminal, though. Was in the old one back in the day. Spent a whole lotta time in the boiler room as a kid, because my granddad happened to work there.
Lost him last year.
Sometimes I just wish to go back to the days when the wet airport on the blue street sounded fun.
Because right now it's just another wound that's far away from healing.
Damn them all.

Would it be weird to say I'm not surprised?

i always come back to the fact that the guy who wrote "Oh bury me, then rise ye up/And break your heavy chains/And water with the tyrants' blood/The freedom you have gained" is also a guy, who painted a naked self-portrait and I feel like it says a lot about us that we call him our prophet.

🪶Kharakternyk

A kharakternyk was a Cossack who was credited with possessing magical powers or was gifted by another witch (Asra?). The image of the Cossack character began to take shape during the Zaporozhian Sich, when magical powers were attributed to Cossack leaders by their subordinates. Later, the kharakternyks were reflected in Ukrainian folklore and folk beliefs as invulnerable to bullets, i.e. immortal warriors (something like Ilya?), capable of transforming into animals, enchanting weapons, etc.
