jervis in my opinion might yearn to be recognized as a rogue who's dangerous but in my heart of hearts he's so annoying and he wants to be

jervis has read and watched many adaptions of the wizard of Oz, and unfortunately for the scarecrow that leads to many rude associations.

"that's a good plan yes but if you had a brain-" type shit. just because he's petty. fortunately jervis is small enough to get away from most attacks his teasing causes.

jervis also has had to sit through many of the penguins rants about birds, and uses that against him.

"well, you can't fly." "I thought warm climates kill you?" "oh, what're you going to do? give her a pebble?"

the penguin however finds them quite funny, and doesn't exactly realize jervis means them to hurt the other man's ego.

he has many many other teases and comments to other rogues however never says any to the girls, or croc.

he thinks the girls don't deserve it, they hardly get recognized as rogues from some of the more.. simple minded of the villains, and croc jervis has a strange maternal guilt for the man that he doesn't understand.
