anyone who actually cares already knows this, but i wanted to make a public post on here to vent my frustration: the reason i haven’t been on this blog is because tumblr terminated my account for literally no reason last january and just reactivated it this week. i sent multiple messages from various accounts asking them why i was terminated and got zero responses this whole year.
i still don’t know why it got terminated, they were just like “apologies for any difficulties.” like how broken is this site that they just. delete users without warning.
most people would take this as a sign from a higher power that i should leave this site for good, but i just made a new blog @helentroys. i’m still not sure if i’m going to stay there or pick things back up here? i have 2 blogs for 1 alias, not sure what to do with either one.

@sixofcrowsnet heist: minor characters→ zoya nazyalensky
“Zoya Nazyalensky - a powerful squaller, gorgeous to the point of absurdity, and capable of reducing Nina’s confidence to ash with a single raised brow.”

”European standards of beauty are something that plague the entire world— the idea that darker skin is not beautiful, that light skin is the key to success and love. Africa is no exception. When I was in the second grade, one of my teachers said, ‘Where are you going to find a husband? How are you going to find someone darker than you?’ I was mortified. I remember seeing a commercial where a woman goes for an interview and doesn’t get the job. Then she puts a cream on her face to lighten her skin, and she gets the job! This is the message: that dark skin is unacceptable. I definitely wasn’t hearing this from my immediate family-my mother never said anything to that effect-but the voices from the television are usually much louder than the voices of your parents.“

The darkest circle of pop feminist Hell is “this truly banal, poorly made and condescending piece of bland pop culture media was insultingly marketed by male execs to women, and therefore not only is it actually substantially good, but the only reason to dislike it is misogyny”
