White House Down was absolutely amazing

it was like every 90’s action movie ground up into a delicious ball, deep fried in genre-savviness and covered with a delicious coating of Jamie Foxx as MR. BARACK PEN-STABBING OBAMA

but now I really want a sequel set 30 years in the future where Channing Tatum’s amazing daughter has just been elected president (because OF COURSE SHE’S GOING TO BE PRESIDENT SOMEDAY), and like, Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx are at the inauguration, being bros, when like RADICAL MISOGYNIST TERRORISTS attack the white house, and crotchety Channing Tatum and old glasses-and-cardigan-wearing Jamie Foxx have to Team Up and shoot rocket launchers and rescue Channing Tatum’s Hilary-Clinton-esque daughter who is still kicking ass and taking names and possibly does her flag-twirling routine and stabs someone with an American flag???

Imagine Covinsky following through with their deal and watching Fight Club together. Kitty would join them, of course. Lara Jean would have the CRAZEIST facial expressions the entire time. It's definitely not her kind of movie. She'd look away or jerk or scrunch her nose at the violence and gross out humor. She'd probably ask Peter, incredulously, 100 times: "You like this movie?" Meanwhile, Peter would be GIDDY. He'd be quoting lines every five seconds and pointing at the screen, shouting, "Lara Jean! This is a good part. Pay attention. This is the best part. It's my favorite part." Lara Jean would say Brad Pitt was the best part and Peter would pout and insist he was better looking, but he'd drop it when his next favorite part came on five seconds later.

Kitty would be engrossed in it since Peter loves it and she likes whatever he does. Lara Jean wonders if she should be watching a rated R movie.

Lara Jean finally becomes interested at THE PLOT TWIST™. Kitty screams "what the fuck!" Lara Jean is even more shocked at that. Peter, of course, would laugh hysterically because he knew it was coming.
