Fic where Jack gets placed with his last foster family way earlier, when he’s like 10. And Wendy is there but she’s the same age she was when he first moved in with her, so probably like 13~14. And Jack is so obviously fucked up. Because of course. And she ends up bonding with him and helping him. Like he does some Whack Shit(TM) at school, beats up someone else, and she covers for him and takes the fall. And eventually she turns 18, and moves out, and brings him with her.
Basically AU where Wendy is forced to be a good sister/caretaker, because he parents are dog shit at taking care of a very traumatized 10 year old, and ends up accidentally adopting him.
