Aegon he's growing on me I feel like he had the beginnings of being a good king before all this happened with jahareys.

Aemond is odd. I did not expect him to be quite so pathetic. I thought they were going for this kind of awesome character with him, but they went the other way.

Helena I feel bad for and am gonna start writing down everything she says I saw the edit where she says in episode 1 they only want the boy or something like that chills. I'd have liked to see more interaction between her and her brothers.

That was brutal.

Helaena trying to give the necklace as trade off for her son and then the sawing sound. Of course, the scene was different in the book, but I think this works well for an adaptation. I wish Maelor had been included. That's going to change certain plot points later if he doesn't exist in the show.

Alicent getting with criston cole was interesting makes them both seem hypocritical. No way that affair just started thats been going on for a while.

jahareys bothering Tyland Lannister was funny. But also Tyland just give him the ball lol.

I figured Jacerys would be in winterfell longer to build up the relationship between him and Creagan Stark.

I don't get trying to make Aegon seem endearing now. We've seen him raping handmaid's and supposedly having his illegitimate children put in fighting pits. But you can tell he had a good relationship with his kids by helaena.

Also, having alicent light a vigil for lucerys seemes out of character when she was going to cut his eye out in the last season.

I really liked the backgroud for the intro, which gave me helaena vibes with all the threads.

Daemon and Rhaenys relationship seems interesting.

i don't know who the original artist is, i don't know whether it's ai generated or not (it probably is), but i'm transfixed, bewitched, enchanted by its concept. the style is shitty, the textures are suspiciously smooth, no deeper meaning was intended nor put in, but i see depth here, i can see potential.

i noticed that not a lot of artwork portrays aegon as an actual human being after he's crippled in the battle at rook's rest. he's almost always made out to be something otherworldly; a fully changed monster, instead of a crippled, struggling man with monstrous traits of character.

here, on the other hand, i finally saw the perfect balance between aegon's natural, "god-given", beauty, though already heavily creased and dented by his own overindulgence and savagery, and the ugliness of his character that manifests itself phisically through his chronic open wounds.

he's split in roughly two parts, and it seems like his state is worsening. it looks like he's being slowly devoured by himself. following in the steps of his father, aegon is rotting alive. his grief, his anger - righteous and not - his bitterness and frustration: all slowly eating away at him from the inside out.

he is no dragon, he's no common fire; wildfire is what he is - virulent, underestimated and deadly. sunfyre may breathe gold, but aegon's flames are emerald, he has that distinctive viridescent hue to him you can't confuse with any other. he's the poison that finally kills him in the end. the poison that drips through

god i sure hope hbo delivers us post-rook's rest aegon as something similar. i hope they deliver him in all his fucked up, dark and tragic glory

Live action avatar the last airbender

Okay so I loved it

Aang is amazing. I love him. I just wish he had actively been working in his water bending more.

Sokka 8 out of 10 I need more sarcasm, but I love that this version supports katara more and doesn't put her down

Kataras my weak link 5 out of 10 she's not as angry or motherly as she should be but her fight against pakku perfect

I dont like what they did with sokka and kataras dad he's kind of a jerk towards sokka I don't think show hakoda ever felt that way

Love Iroh once agian he's my favorite and they give him more of a back story with his son luten and I like that there are consequences for him being in the war and a general he has to deal with the pain he caused people and HE KILLS ZHAO WHAT! Wild

Zuko is a perfect, great job, and I like how his crew is the division ozai was gonna sacrifice.

Azula, I think it is great we get to see how the pressure is on her to and how she has to earn ozais approval.

Ozai is 8 out of 10 for me he's not as ruthless as the show ozai that ozai dosent care about zuko at all though I do like that he's actively pitting his kids against each other to see who's better.

Zhao amazing fun fact he's in the original as the earth bending general who tries to trick aang into the avatar state.

I didn't mind them combining jet and the mechanist in omashu. i thought it was clever.

Kyoshi and roku and kuruk were amazing as past avatars.

Koh was terrifying as he should be I don't understand why wan she tong was there, the owl that didn't make sense but was still cool.

I like that they show the attack on the airtemple it shows how evil sozin is and how roku failed as avatar.

The bending effects are amazing, especially fire bending.

Mai and tylee didn't have enough time for me to give an opinion on them

For me, the series is an 8 out of 10, and i really want season 2 and 3

truly so intrigued by the idea that the creatures from wild blue yonder are different forms of the midnight creature, like they’re the same type of being trying to achieve / capable of doing different things. I never ever want concrete canon answers on this because that defeats the point, but thinking about it is TANTALISING it’s so interesting

Racial diversity and representation don't mean much when you only cast black/brown actors/actresses to play villians while the white people get to be the heroes (this is about the obi wan kenobi show)
