there must be something wrong with me, because I can't seem to carry any Thing with me. No person or character or media or any other external touchstone seems to weigh on my being as it does for many. i feel completely wrapped up in the internal; these pieces of me only grow and grow until they push out everything else: friends, family, "hyperfixations". My instinct only drives me inward.

my mother will ask, "why don't you feel like you can talk to me?" and I'll say, "because at this, this, and this point I tried to but it didn't feel like you were listening?" and she'll respond, "Oh, well, you don't know what was happening in my life at that point, I have my own issues too; you know, I'm a complex person." Okay great so just drop the me bullshit and let's talk about you then 😁

March 8, 2024 - A Palestine Action activist destroys a painting of Lord Balfour at Trinity College in Cambridge, UK. Lord Balfour, as the UK foreign secretary signed the Balfour Declaration on November 2nd 1917, which was a public statement issued by the British government which promoted "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people". The British obviously had no right to give the land away to anyone. [video]

Live news just within the span of 30 minutes this morning:
"Ten Palestinians killed and 20 injured in an Israeli air strike against Abu Assi school in which displaced Palestinians were taking shelter in southern Gaza city. This attack brings the total number of schools attacked by Israel in the past two weeks to 20"
"Additionally, 5 Palestinians were killed including 3 women and a child in an airstrike against a house in Nuseirat"
"This is a scene where Israeli warplanes struck a house in the Lebanese Beqaa, levelling it to the ground. Eight people were killed including 5 women and two children."
This fascist Zionist entity is live-streaming their terror across multiple countries and leaving no room for buts or ifs as to what their intentions are, yet here you are.

That video of Vivek Ramaswamy giving that speech about Israel at the Republican Jewish Coalition is soooo interesting to me but specifically the part he says about “abandoning the myth of a two state solution” because he’s right, it is a myth but also he’s literally saying the quiet part out loud. When Palestinians outright reject the two state solution, we’re blamed for being the obstacle to peace rather than recognising Israel has no intention of ever pursuing a 2ss. Obviously the intention/reasons behind when Palestinians say it vs when someone like Ramaswamy says it is different
But this is also a great example in the difference between Repubs and Dems. While Dems will still be unwavering in their support for Israel, they’ll talk about pursuing a path towards a two state solution whilst allowing Israel to prolong its occupation and prevent any establishment of a Palestinian state. Republicans on the other hand save us all the theatrics and talk about peace and straight up say they support Israel’s policies of doing whatever it wants

Israeli police demolish a mosque in the 'unrecognized' Bedouin village of Umm al-Hiran in the Negev (al-Naqab) to make way for an Orthodox Jewish community.
According to a 2015 Israeli High Court of Justice ruling, the Bedouins in the village had been "illegally squatting" on land that belongs to Israel.
Israeli media claims the residents of the Bedouin community demolished their own homes and left, and that the mosque was one of the only structures remaining.
The Times of Israel writes, "The 37 unrecognized villages in the Negev house some 150,000 people, or roughly a third of Israel’s Bedouin population, according to the Council. Israel decided in the 1990s to raze some of the illegally built villages and build authorized communities in their stead."
Fanatic National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir praises the demolitions, boasting that he has overseen a 400% rise in demolitions in the Negev since the beginning of 2024.

Indigenous Palestinian Bedouins have always lived in the Negev desert. Just like the Colonizers in so called “United States” and “Canada” they came to the lands and decided what is law through genocide, ethnic cleansing, and white supremacist “western values”. To the colonizer it does not matter that the Indigenous peoples have lived on the land for centuries.
As a Palestinian Bedouin close to my heart, whose family was ethnically cleansed from Beersheba, once said “the land is ours, we will go home, you’ll see, you’ll see”

It should be noted that “The U.S. Strategy to Prevent Conflict and Promote Stability 10-Year Strategic Plan for Haiti,” summarized in this article and mentioned in the article linked above, identifies not only 'gang violence' but also civil protests and demonstrations as "risks to stability" which require intervention from "institutions responsible for providing security in Haiti, including the HNP [Haitian National Police]." Here, the HNP is essentially an afterthought, with the assumption that US-backed "interagency efforts" led by "USAID, State, DHS, and the DoD," will provide the bulk of military intervention: either through CORE group minions or direct US violence.
The plan also includes this graphic, which emphasizes the force and longevity with which the United States will exert these "safety and security interventions" onto the Haitian public; even as, ostensibly, the plan transitions to non-security focused phases.

another Haiti news round up-

The US and the rest of the CORE group are not only continuing the invasion plan supported by the US and the Dominican Republic, they are explicitly aiming to rewrite the constitution. This has unfortunately happened multiple times in Haitian history. This article has been recommended on the subject.
Tumblr media
The deportations of Haitians from the Dominican Republic have continued, and have had a massive negative impact on the local economy.

People are being crammed into deportation centers with terrible conditions.

In tandem, the US is also continuing to deport Haitians.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Additionally, the US ambassador to Haiti has admitted to having contact with prominent gang leaders. This not only arouses suspicion about the nature of this contact, it is a blatant example of imbalance and suppression. Haitian journalists cannot interview members of gangs without risking arrest. Many of the gangs in Haiti are also former police/military, and the discussion about "stabilizing" the country via outside intervention typically ignores that the gangs themselves have ties to the would be "stabilizers". These gangs often procure weapons and training from countries like the US, and gang violence has been increasing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sharing of photos or videos of violence is also now being censored. This means that Haitians can now be punished for recording evidence of crimes committed against them. This is being framed like it will impact the public promotion of gang violence, as many post about their crimes online, but many Haitians are doubtful that it will be anything other than censorship.

Howdy folks, the Senate will be considering the first ever resolution blocking arms to Israel. This is huge and historic; it would block government contracting and about $20 billion in arms and support. This is an uphill battle, PLEASE urge your senators to support S.J.Res114-115. This is maybe the most important piece of legislation relating to Palestine that we have ever gotten and we must seize this opportunity.
This doc has information on the resolutions and their process, as well as sample messages and a phone script you can use. Please, use this moment to hear witness for your neighbors.
